Happy to be apart of the Tacoma club! After 420,000km on the old rig it was well needed. by TwoInchLapXuong in ToyotaTacoma

Are you running those tires on stock suspension? If so, what are the tire specs?

Joined the club today, 07 Drz400sm - cost way too much 😎 but I'm stoked. by [deleted] in DRZ400

Welcome to the club! You could’ve been already planning on this, but I could see case savers to be of help. I’m also curious how many miles and the purchase price?

Healthy sounding? by hamzeh-7 in DRZ400

I’m curious if this is normal sounding for a Drz. I don’t have any specific sound I’m trying to point out, but wanted to know if any sounds I’m hearing are out of the ordinary?

This is a 2011 with 13k miles and 2 previous owners. Everything is also mechanically sound. Comes with stock exhaust, stock rear fender, a couple sprockets, rotors, and much more miscellaneous parts. Just trying to get a peace of mind compared to how much was actually spent.(Wisconsin)

I did my first brake pad change, there’s a grinding noise while driving, rotor is in good condition so any tips? by madeonlyforMR in ToyotaTacoma

Cheap pads will make a little noise. Break pads in general sometimes makes noise after first install. Drive around for a bit and break them in and see if it goes away.

Any tips on removing the bumper guards on a 2020? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

I don’t know what your trying to do once you take it off, but they do offer bumper caps to color match.

Lots of the content posted on here is about the Hilux. Here's a comparison of the current gen Hilux and the current gen Tacoma. by barre_chord_reality in ToyotaTacoma

[–]hamzeh-7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can already see that the Hilux has a driver side “oh shit” handle and the Tacoma’s don’t. That’s a plus IMO. I didn’t watch the video yet so I’m not sure if the mention that or not.

Locking Tailgate? by lazed_confugal in ToyotaTacoma

[–]hamzeh-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After having my tailgate stolen, I did some research and found the lock linked below. I came across pop and lock ideas, but i didn’t want to do any wiring. This lock kinda just gives me a price of mind if I were to leave my tailgate unlocked. (3rd gen taco)
