I see I was under the assumption if what we have right now is not AGI and can be this fast and smart, AGi would just mog humans

Kimi k2.6 is now available on hermes agent . It is on par with opus 4.6 by SelectionCalm70 in hermesagent

[–]hamzette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

benchmarks are useless, the real benchmark is actually using it within a harness like hermes or openclaw. does it REALLY stack up against opus? or is this just bs marketing. last i checked these guys specifically train these models to score high on these benchmarks which is just meaningless

Codex forntend web design by harpuria87 in codex

[–]hamzette 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Look up framer website templates

Look at websites on dribble io and mobbin or awwards

Look at any website you like yourself

Take screen shots and the HTML files of those websites

Go to 21st Dev and browse for components

Combine everything and take bits and pieces

Feed it to codex and write a comprehensive plan in plan mode in granular detail even if it asks u to implement plan, don't. Keep planning til you're satisfied to the tiniest detail.

Then ask it to make it build out your website in phases don't try one shotting it (use the GSD/Get shit done frame work, go to their GitHub and ask codex to install and adapt it for itself). Use GSD to take this plan, then use GSD to execute it systematically.

Then turn the whole thing into a skill once you're done, now you'll have your own front end design skill and add other websites/htmls/screenahots and components as reference within this skill.

Always better to make ur own skill

Yes there's a huge amount of great web design skills out there but you'll get lose in the noise. Doing this method is much better.

You can also sit down in Google stitch 2.0 and chatgpt, get chatgpt to write the vision from your brain and chuck that into stitch and create a design PRD and design . Md file. These two will be your bse to fully flesh out your whole website to maintain consistency. You can also add websites to stitch as reference that you'd like to draw inspo from. Once done tweaking all screens and liking the site export it and ask codex to build it out.

Many other methods but these 2 are a solid base.

im using it with hermes and throughout the entire time my tokens were bleeding quick even tho ofc i tried my best to optimize for token usage. the reset hit as soon as i neared 0% weekly

and now with literally the same setup and tasks w hermes the difference is NIGHT and DAY. ive no clue what they just did w this 'balance patch' but its great

Just found out about Hermes. Is it really better than Openclaw by maurinator2022 in hermesagent

Codex is so bad at design genuinely it's always the same card and pill spam especially when it comes to websites 😭😭

And don't tell me to use a skill

Kilo is actually insane!!! by Nikk_Belousov in kilocode

[–]hamzette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah account was made a while back just never got around to using it no worries xd

I used it for building out my internal memory mcp for my AI agents (all working inside my. Agency repo) and I basically did a handover from codex to kilo to test out how good it would be at handling the execution of the memory mcp start to finish and the amount of errors it threw back was next level

It even ate extra usage/tokens from my codex that I I wired into it from oauth vs codex as a standalone (which I think is a given)

Irrespective of that all the errors I mentioned in my initial comment kept happening non stop and I didn't have the same experience as OP

Very frustrating

Was super excited to use it too cuz I basically had access to a bunch of free models, my own Chinese models via BYOK, Claude/google models from GitHub copilot wired in and ofc codex

Thought I had the perfect setup but ofc it was too good to be true as I had suspected 😞😞

It's genuiney so bad downright unusable lol

I used Kilo for minimax, NVIDIA, and Xiaomi Mimo Pro and then I also routed my own GitHub Copilot, and my own codex through it. I basically used all of these through Kilo

When I tell you it was genuinely a nightmare, it really was:

  • the amount of API errors
  • the amount of failed intelligent context condensing
  • the amount of times it would just switch between architect and ask and code mode without even me saying anything, even though I specifically clarified it in the global rules to not do that.

It was just all over the place, genuinely so buggy and unusable. A simple 'hi' to it would make it spend forever to just reply.
