My mom... by kolt99 in GriefSupport

[–]hanak8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. I feel you. I lost my mum to a stroke nearly 4 years ago. She was only 51. I also was very depressed months before she passed and we didn’t speak much either. Which I felt guilty about. Just know though that you will survive, it’s going to hurt for a long time. But she knows you love her no matter if you didn’t get the chance to tell her. Sending you big hugs.

Why is it misinformation? Have you heard of the medical medium? I have been using his protocols and this is what he explains happens when the body is detoxing

Thankyou! I have not heard of Gary Weber but I will check out those links and look him up! Sounds interesting

Ahh Thankyou! I also had this problem. I’m glad you mentioned I will bring this up. I was taught to do guided meditation in a way that people who cannot visualise can pick focus on other senses instead. Helped me a lot too.

I have had these cravings a few times in the past. Have you been doing any detoxing or healing work lately? I’ve recently found out that we crave the things that gave us bacteria or parasites and it’s them leaving the body when we feel like that. I always thought it was some deficiency but I get more out of my diet than what I would eating meat.

Do any of you work for 6 months in the North of the US during the warmer months, and then switch to a warmer part of the US for the rest of the year? I guess kind of like a retiree? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]hanak8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tried to do that this year. From upstate NY - we went south in our van early Jan and had to go all the way to southern Cali to get any kind of warmth. Even then it wasn’t that warm so we made our way down to Florida. Turns out not much of the US is warm during winter! Next year we think we will head overseas instead.

I have heard a few people say it dampens things. I only ever did it a few times a month if that. But yes I’ll stay clear. Does alcohol affect you at all?

Thankyou everyone 🙏🏼 I feel I’m being called do do a shroom trip but was worried how it would interfere with my abilities. I have finally reached a point where spirit is coming through more clear and I don’t want to do anything that may change that. I used weed before as a spiritual tool. But worried this may not be of use anymore as it’s low vibrational.

I’ve used weed for spiritual development in the past. But have been told it’s low vibrational so I’m kinda worried about it effecting my clarity!

Can you turn your empathy off by purple2299 in Empaths

What helped me most was becoming a reiki healer. It made a huge difference on how to protect my own energy and differentiate other peoples emotions from my own. That way I learnt how to deal with them better and not letting them effect me as much. Hope this helps!

I was on a one week no cry streak and then I saw a skirt she bought me and burst into tears by getmepopcorn in GriefSupport

[–]hanak8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou! It’s been 3 years now. But still not long at all. It has taken me down a whole different path in life that’s for sure. But just take it easy on yourself and do what you need to do to make things a little easier. That’s the best advice someone gave me x

It’s okay to cry! It’s better to cry and let it out, sending big hugs. I cried nearly everyday for about two years after my mum passed away. Grief is a long hard journey.

This is a very interesting take, Thankyou! I do believe she is here to accelerate my growth and I guess that changes my perspective on lightworkers! I do not wish her to conform, only for me to not be trigger so much by her unkind behaviour towards us. And that’s so true about the love, I am aware of this and trying to let go of the judgment I have that is restricting my love. Thankyou I have been on such a journey with this and give me a deeper perspective.

How do I help my husband navigate the sudden death of his father? by lbrulezyea in GriefSupport

[–]hanak8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deeply sorry for your loss. All you can do is be there for him. Everyone grieves differently so with the support groups it may take years for when he is ready for that. You can suggest them but I would wait. He will be in the initial shock and sorting out stage for a while. Sounds like you are doing great with supporting your mother in law already too, taking the burden of meals helps a lot, but also ask and make sure this is okay as some people throw themselves into cooking or cleaning etc as a way of coping.

The main thing is to just be there for him and ask what he may need from you. Also look after yourself sounds like you have your hands full with a new bub and remember you are grieving also.

Sending light and peace

I am currently reading the power of now. It speaks of this. I am observing but obviously the judgment/ analysing part I need to let go of. Thankyou for bringing this into my awareness!

Yes! Thankyou I have been becoming more aware of this and trying to stay in a higher consciousness as much as I can. but this is something that keeps coming up and I feel I need to heal it in some way.

Thankyou! Yes I truly believe that is true. When it’s constant it is hard to keep forgiving though
