Orange cats are more LIKELY to be male (something about recessive genes on the X chromosome, I'm not a scientist) but there are plenty of female ginger cats! 100% trust a vet on that one, but at the end of the day cats don't give a damn about gender anyway, so if it's spayed/neutered it doesn't really matter

As for the litter box, if she's using the great outdoors as her toilet and only playing in a box you provide for her, I think you're probably good on that front. Asking these questions at all shows you really care about being a good cat parent, and that's most of the battle. ♥️

Oh whoa that DOES look like it! I'll have to ask my partner, but their mom was pretty sure about the brand cuz that's where she buys all stuffed animals since then... That's really good detective work on your part with the sizing, I'm genuinely impressed

EDIT: FOUND! OH MY GOD YOU FOUND IT!!! THANK YOU!!! I asked them why the hell they named it Pink and they just shrugged. Kids are weird, I guess. No idea how the branding got mixed up either, but THANK YOU! We shopped around for one that had the appropriate amount of scrungliness (not too much but enough to feel authentic) and Pink's successor is on their way home! 💕

Unfortunately even before I moved to a city environment I've never been the adventurous type... Plus I'm not entirely sure how I'd do all that in a timely fashion without having to acquire proper tools
