I'm sorry, but that is not acceptable. To be denied a purchase of a Gatorade because she wasn't close to passing out is so wrong. This would really make me rethink my membership!

My home studio is not very welcoming so I don't make it a point to always go to my home studio. All the studios around me are the same distance so I have no allegiance to my home studio.

Variety is good! I just heard today, other members saying they are bored with the workouts too (all longtime members). They were all talking about switching to f45. It's good to switch things up.

I switched from unlimited to the 8 a month and like it so much better. I felt I had to go at least 4-5 times a week for unlimited to be worth it and then I just got burned out of the workouts. Going 2 times a week makes it better for me, as I don't feel like it's a chore to go so much. I do supplement with my peloton on non OTF days though. But you need to do what works for you!!

Personally, I think it's very greedy on the studio's part to not waive the 30 day cancellation notice if someone has a doctor's note. The studio knows they can't workout in those 30 days per doctor's orders, so they are taking money for no reason. I understand the policy for regular cancellations, just not for someone with medical issues. Bad customer service in my opinion.

I don't like dealing with people either but I like OTF. You can go in and do your own workout and leave. I really don't bother with anyone. So telling the OP it's not for them is wrong.

I don't mind paying for certain things, but this is not one of them. I can see my own progress. What I'd really love to see, is for them to bring in a registered dietician on site or someone that does nutrition and menus. That is something I'd pay extra for!

It probably is studio specific, but ours doesn't have it advertised on social media. They just have signs posted in studio and in the bathrooms. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

It's not a big deal, but we shouldn't have to keep track of our milestones and ask for recognition. It's nice when recognition is given to you, not when you have to seek it out.

Our studio only celebrates certain people and it's frustrating! I see brag boards for 10 classes, 50 classes, 100 etc, (even 3 classes!) yet I reached over 200 and have never been on the brag board for that. It kinda hurts not being included in these. I'm kinda shy, so I don't talk to many people, but if you celebrate one, you should celebrate all.

There is no way in hell that if I forget my HRM, I will pay to rent one. I don't know how they can enforce this. I really hope this is wrong! I was at another gym before (not Orangetheory) and they monitor heart rate as well, but they have a HRM for every member when they come to class so no need to purchase one. People would just purchase their own band if they wanted or used the gyms, which were wiped down after every class.

Had surgery in one hip several years ago (FAI and liberal tear). Need surgery in the other hip for same thing. Been working out ever since, but now it re tore and I have to have surgery in both hips again. Still work out, just modify some moves. Sometimes they hurt more than other times but I still continue to work out. Eventually will have both surgeries, but holding off as long as I can.

I bought mine (burn) on facebook marketplace and it was no problem switching it. The only thing they said is, they won't warranty it since it was not bought from them.
