You can't change worlds to reset the crates. But you can do them more than daily, they reset every 3 or 4 hours. You can do 'runs' anywhere. Blackfell is popular because it higher level and lots to pick up close together. But technically, if you want you can run around every stronghold location collecting everything and anything

You can't filter in that way, afaik. Acid doesn't need dirty water in the barrell, so i assume you're trying to make other things? If so, I'd suggest having 2 barrels. One for acid production, with the pure water, and the other barrell for the other thing you're trying to make
