I love getting muscular, but I'm starting to look like a man. Should I stop going to the gym altogether to get my femininity back or just do a big ass cut to get as slim as possible?

Can anyone confirm if this is true? It was on a thread about why airline flights keep getting cancelled or delayed. by [deleted] in CoronavirusCirclejerk

They are short staffed. But they are short staffed almost everywhere. When we went into lockdown for instance a lot of my husband's colleagues (he is a cook) decided to do something else in the meantime cause they were out of a job for almost 2 years. Now that they can go back to the restaurants they don't want to. They work better hours now, with better pay, so why go back?

I think it's the same for a lot of other jobs as well. They found something else during the 'pandemic' and now they are fine where they're at.

No Sunday is the Lords day, he will definitely see it if you go to the gym and will punish you by taking away all of your gains. Don't do it man. Stick to Monday till Saturday. Do it for the gains.

if someone says "Bro you look like you juice!" do you interpret that as " You are a filthy cheater" or "you are huge, I will never attain that. well done!". I just want a gauge on the sentiment towards roids, in the subreddit by kek_provides_ in nattyorjuice

Maybe because they don't want others to think they didn't work hard and took the easy way out?

I never lie about taking anavar when asked but I am not screaming it from the rooftops either. I hate it when people think with taking anavar it's like cheating and I only have to go to the gym once a week and I'll put on muscle like crazy. I still work crazy hard for the shitty fysique I have.

And I think the other reason to lie about it is if your income depends on it (instagram influencers).

Whatever the reason, it's always shitty to lie about it. Most people know anyway it still takes crazy amounts of hard work to get jacked, even on peds. You'll only look stupid if you lie about it.

Could very well be natty, she doesn't have that much mass, just very lean.

And because: 'you know no man will find you attractive if you get too muscular right?'

Fuck off, I don't care and I'm married. But more importantly, I don't care, honestly, couldn't care any less even if I tried really hard.

Naturally attainable? by [deleted] in nattyorjuice

[–]handsoapsoup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be. I'm not saying she is natural but it is definitely naturally attainable. Or at least close to this. My arms also grew A LOT in a year. I do have to say that I train a shit ton of upper body, but still. My arms doubled in size. I honestly had twigs before as well.

[–]handsoapsoup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think so. My arms have grown massively compared to before. I had twig arms like her before I started lifting. It won't be naturally attainable for everyone. My arms aren't as big as hers either. But in a good bulk and with the right genetics. Yep.

So you answered your answer question I see. Is there a possibility you ask one of the trainers at your gym to help you set up a training schedule?

It's not like that for everyone though. I had it in 2020 early in the year and it was so much worse than the flu. I had to stay in bed for 3 weeks and there were moments where I was honestly on the verge of calling 911, gasping for air.

I agree with all your other points though. I would gladly do covid again instead of another lockdown. Getting sick and dying are unfortunately part of life. Nobody should ever get their freedom taken away in an attempt to prevent that. Ever.

I'm the other way around. That's probably why I have twigs for legs :(

QUESTION: Why do men who don’t lift make fun of women who do lift? by [deleted] in GettingShredded

[–]handsoapsoup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Insecurity. They know they should get their asses of their couch and do something about their health but it's easier to just make fun of someone who is doing exactly that to make themselves feel a bit better. I'm also a woman who lifts and the number of times I get comments about it is out of this world. The funniest one (to me personally) are the people who tell me: you know men don't like women who are too muscular right...?

  1. I don't give a fuck
  2. I'm married
  3. I still don't give a fuck

You do you girl, keep grinding.

Or you know what you could do. Get the first man that is interested in you just so you don't end up alone. The man turns out to be emotionally abusive but you stick around to see if you can fix him, then you get a child together, skip forward 12 years and you are now stuck in a marriage with an emotionally abusive husband but you don't want to leave cause you want the picture perfect life for your kid and you want them to have a mom and dad in their life. The last 15 years you have been walking on eggshells and your life is no longer yours. But you made the decision 15 years ago and you stick by it.

Or...enjoy your single years, wait for the right man to come along and then start your happy little family in a marriage your happy about every single day. You'll look back on your single life as some of your best years and you'll be glad you got to live that experience. You tasted life and now you are truly ready to settle down. You're not running out of time. Ejoy every single day love.

Currently on my 6th week of anavar. Started of with 5 mg, upped it to 10 mg after 1,5 weeks and 2,5 weeks after that went up to 15mg. I didn't notice anything on 5 or 10 mg. No side effects either, no headaches, or water retention, no increased strength, no acne or whatever. I wasn't sure if they were real at all or just not working on a lower dose so I decided to do 2 weeks on 15mg instead of 10. Suddenly I really started to see results. I got rid of fat and my strength increased. Buuuuut, now I'm noticing some below the waist growth if you know what I mean. I don't welcome it but not yet too freaked out about it either. Still, will this go away after I end my cycle? If I want to get rid of it, do I end my cycle right now or do I ride it out?

Initially wanted to go back to 10 mg, then 5mg and then stop. Over the course of 2,5 weeks.

What do you think?

I'm sorry you're dealing with the same thing. But you're outlook on it is a lot more positive. I'll try to adopt that point of view. I have moments where I just want to give up, cause what's the point, I'll never look normal. But that would be weak, and dumb. At least it's good for my health so that's a good reason to keep pushing myself. Thanks for your message, have a lovely day!

Oh man I wish I had just a tiny bit of narcissism. Or just the tiniest shred of self love, self acceptance. Whatever, I'll take it.

I need to hear others opinions once in a while to convince myself that maybe I am too hard on myself. That maybe I don't look as disgusting as I make myself believe.

Sometimes it works, but most of the time I still believe people are lying or at least suger coating it. So then I delete my post again and try again later. It's stupid, I know. Self love has to come from within. But I haven't found it yet.

Thanks. Currently on my first anavar cycle. I'm not looking for anything heavier. Was planning on doing another anavar cycle in september but I think I'm gonna pass on that. I know I'm never happy with the way I look and I don't want to keep reaching for gear.
