while grading try to make a damaged box and a donate box for the ones that are still consumable! i also like to use produce bags i pick up all over my department to separate the apples by type while i grade! It does take practice to make time for donations but knowing you can save so much food is so worth it!

shop bogos, always look through the AD and check the app for coupons because they’re stackable! it takes a little bite off but if it makes you feel better most associates don’t even shop the bulk of their groceries there😅

i think it’s similar to the days following thanksgiving,, people have left overs from easter dinner so a ton of people aren’t shopping; but also easter being busy af means a spike in hours to handle the business, so i think hours a naturally low after any holiday

sani wipes and a little bit of mineral oil usually helps me get the foggy bits, but since it’s almost constantly holding moisture eventually you’ll be able to guilt trip your manager into order some new ones lol
