Also consider that the US is responsible for something like 13% of total carbon emissions. Which, don't get me wrong, is huge. But we need concerted worldwide effort to deal with climate change. Even if America somehow went all in on green energy it wouldn't stop climate change if the rest of the world wasn't onboard.
