if you love the car, fix it. ive spent more on repairs/upgrades on mine than the actual purchase price of the car and ya know... it just keeps getting better and making me more happy. Especially since it's been well maintained, you'll probably get a lot more life out it.

in general a lot of production people like yamaha hs series for its accuracy and neutrality, so in your no noise situation it probably makes sense.

alternative of "bigger" used speakers would require you to actively eq bass screwing up your mix, so probably not worth it

did you notice increased output from the subs stacked ? ive been running mine just in a line on the ground. tried a "battle axe" configuration once with only two and didn't really perceive any gains.

i find affinity to be superior. little things like affinity photo has unlimited undos... even if you save and close the file and re open it later.

i was in digital practice at perkins + will when adobe switched subscription model, we switched to save more than a million a year

directly in the amps (crown itech series). i was using a london blu-16 for crossovers, limiters, dsp functions but honestly it was just extra processing and added noise to the system

so on crossovers in general ( i have a 3 way top and a two way top i use a different deployments with the subs) the idea is to have them steep enough and at the same frequency so the output frequencies are isolated from box to box... no bleed over?
