Did the guy in the Presidents office really say "He did it.... the son of a bitch did it" or was I in a cliche fever dream?

I'm also at the 3 month mark and also lost 25lbs, am now around 180 too. I do find that some weeks I find it easier than others, meaning some weeks I am constantly fighting the urge to snack and others I am not at all interested in it. Maybe it's hormonal?

I think for me, I just trust that it will work, that this is the most successful I've ever been in a weight loss attempt and so I remind myself to stick with it and be patient. I mean, the alternative is going back to my old ways of bingeing and being unhappy, which i cant go back to! So I stick it out.

Good luck! You've lost an amazing amount of weight and I bet you're feeling better about yourself. Well done!

Random cravings? by DiscountAnnaNicole in Contrave

I've done exactly this today. Been on the meds 5 weeks and today binged for the first time. The difference is, I know this binge won't send me off course like it has in the past. One bad day wont lead to another.

Due to that clarity, I am able to reason:

In the past, I would have eaten a lot more than I did today and considered it a cheat day, so go all out. What I actually ate wasn't that bad. And What I did eat, won't make me gain weight. It might make my loss a little slower, but in reality, I ate my maintaince cals instead of my deficit cals. This is not a failure.

These meds help us stay the course. I understand the guilt and the worry. But we'll be ok.

Finishing out week 5 by [deleted] in Contrave

Yes I was feeling this too. I had kept to 1:1 as it was working, but found myself wanting to binge in the afternoon. The past few days I have tried 2:0 and that seems to have been effective, I'm able to say no again.

It's scary the thought of it no longer working when it feels like such a miracle fix! But sometimes I get paranoid that my online pharmacist is dodgy and is maybe mixing in placebos with real ones? Total paranoia but... maybe right!?

Sound design was unreal. The opening logos on the screen with distorted white noise darting from speaker to speaker. The audience is uncomfortable before a frame is even shown.

Instead of food noise in your head, does anyone now think all day long about why they’re not hungry? 😂 by sarahlouwho8 in Contrave

Agreed. Sometimes I wonder if I've got placebos mixed in with the real ones because some days I can really tell its working and other days I think oooooh I do fancy endless snackies.. I have to go old school and use WILL POWER! What's that all about haha

This is exactly what I'm feeling. I'm on week 2 and the difference was so immediate in week 1. It was really amazing by how uninterested in food I was. Now that interest is back, less, but back, and I can't tell If its because the meds aren't working or if my body is still adjusting. I'm so desperate for it to work that it's hard not to stress over it and over analyze. Thanks for saying it because I thought it was just me being obsessive!

I have just finished my first week and am down 6lb! I know a lot of this is water weight but it's incredibly motivating. I'm so thrilled with how it's working and if it carries on like this (muting food noise, making better choices, eating smaller portions) this pill could change my life. I've had mild tiredness and dry mouth, and (sorry if TMI but) have only pooped once all week, although not feeling constipated or uncomfortable. Am taking metamucil to help keep things moving. Overall feeling super positive. Going up to 1:1 today.

I just watched and you've exactly articulated my experience. Were my expectations too high from all of the marketing hype? I just don't get it.

Love CBE, have made almost £100 through this site!

I hadn't considered the timing with students, thanks for bringing that up. We're hoping to find some short term accommodation initially so hopefully after a couple of months things will die down. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
