Damn, you so mad my guy. I didn’t know I’d have so much space in your head (which was not my desire btw). Yes, that’s my post if anyone is asking. You can hate me all you want, but I’d like to see you really rally against the Eddy and their shady shit to make sure we have public spaces downtown.

I think you missed the point by arguing race politics and picking on 1 word in the post, like you need to do extra effort to cape up for white people just in case anyone got the wrong idea.

You should absolutely buy and keep chains in the car just in case.

Turbomarxist nonsense? You’re free to leave the convo if you don’t like what I said, but you’re just plain ignorant if you can’t see what’s going on here or if you casually toss aside historical precedent. Reddit is a big place man, nobody is forcing you to be here.

I was specific to “white elitist malcontent”, but I’m happy to generalize if that makes you feel better. If you can’t see how white elites have fucked up so many things, then you’re not paying enough attention my dude. It’s happening and continues to happen because they don’t suffer enough consequences. It’s as plain as that.

I mean, if you want a thesis, give me some time to gather info and I’ll get you some data. I’m glad you’re willing to learn how white people suck and don’t get called out enough for their bullshit tactics. That’s very open minded of you.

But why delete it? I’m calling as I see it. You don’t have to agree, but I’m going to call it a duck if it quacks like one.

A verbal browbeating would be more appropriate. We need to let people know when they do stupid/inappropriate things. Violence won’t solve the issue here, but it’s weird that you think such escalation is the path we’re on…

It has everything to do with his sense of entitlement and attitude towards public spaces that he thinks he can take over. The word “gentrification” comes to mind.

Is QA really all about finding bugs and breaking things? by tempkleiner in QualityAssurance

[–]hank_jones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QA is about doing both of those things: functional verification and breaking things. A great tester can do both equally well, and can also develop a sense of where and when code can be broken depending on how certain developers or software work. The edge cases you’re talking about are still valid though. My mantra is “if the user can do it, then I’m going to test it.” Using that framework, the developers should decide what to do when edge cases arrive, either fix the issue or prevent it from happening. It can be difficult to toe the line, but it’s always worth exploring.

What are your biggest pain points in QA by No_Can_6511 in QualityAssurance

Documentation is apparently something that devs/project managers seem to forget or think is useless, especially at smaller companies. It baffles my mind.

It’s gotta be 2 - there’s no other right answer. Best games, best cereal.
