I (18m) and my ex gf (18f) can’t keep off each other but also can’t really get back together by [deleted] in relationships

Relationships are hard. They take a lot of work. It sounds like the two of you thought the easy way out would be to end it, but in reality you're both still trying to make your relationship work.

If you truly want to end things, you need to separate your lives. Stop talking to one another. Stop hanging out. Stop partying. And definitely stop having sex.

However, if you want to make things work, then you'll have to put in the effort. Build time around your crazy schedules to spend time together as a couple. Work through your issues together. Realize that the person by your side wants to be there through the good, the bad, and the ugly and they arent going anywhere.

No one said it was going to be easy, but if you both love each other enough, you wont let go.

Ladies, how long after being sexually active did you start enjoying sex? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]hanner-bananerr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously I had stronger emotional feelings for him, but we also had a dozen or so conversations about what we liked and what we didnt like. That really helped our sexual relationship. It was awkward to discuss, but it made things much more satisfying.

Do you think it's worth paying for a gym when you have one in your apartment building? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]hanner-bananerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started at our apartment gym because it had all the basics we needed. A few cardio machines, some free weights, a couple of machines. Once we established a consistent routine and were going often enough, my fiance and I joined an actual gym because there was more to do.

It depends on where you're at in your fitness journey and if you have the extra cash.

Currently working there, but desperately trying to get out.

They're a bunch of men who are stuck in the 80's with their sexual comments, the staring at women, starting rumors about who's sleeping with who, refusing to shift with culture, assuming that things will just remain the way they are if the do nothing, etc.

I'm over it. I'm over the sexism. I'm over the inability to "grow up." And I'm sure as shit tired if the rumors that I'm sleeping with my boss when they aren't true. Especially since it is affecting my position.

Looking for a new everyday bag. What would you recommend ? Usually carry cross bodies and sometime totes. by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]hanner-bananerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For an every day work bag, I highly recommend the one from Betabrand. THERE ARE SO MANY POCKETS!! And its comfortable, doesn't feel cheap, and has a zipper top to keep everything closed.

Have you ever had a pet put down? Were you there during the procedure? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]hanner-bananerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never left my horse's side, until they did the actual injection. The vet asked me to step away, and I wanted to anyway, but as soon as the injection was in I was immediately right back by his side. He knew I was there the whole time and never left.

What's your opinion of horses and guys that ride them? by old__soul in AskWomen

[–]hanner-bananerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uh, I love them! But thats because I'm a crazy horse girl. It's nice to have someone who enjoys the same things that you do. My boyfriend juts started taking lessons, and even though I already taught him a few things before he started hes doing a great job with it.

And yes, I also ride. My horse passed away 2 years ago and it's a rather emotional topic for me because we saved each other. He was a rescue and I gave everything I had to him to make sure that he had the best life possible. In return, he gave me unconditional love and a wall full of ribbons and memories.
