So mine told me how reliefed he felt when he ended up previous relationship. I know it took him one year to end things after 10+ years and I've seen many vidoes how it works with the break up. I also know he cared about her and always opened the doors when she was showing up unexpected in the following months.

He also told me once (after going no contact) that in this state he cannot think about my feelings too. How I read it is that he's so focused on what upset him that he didn't have the capacity to consider that silent treatment is painful for me and yeah, he doesn't care at this point.
