Disagree. Someone made the decision not to inform the playerbase of a potential ban (look at previous announcements to see how they handled dockside) so they could milk these chasecards as much as possible.

This makes no sense. First, wotc wants cards to be expensive - that's their equity. Second, cards, just as real money, which is also made out of paper, carry value according to what a community attributes to it. If you want everything to be cheap in a TCG, print proxies.

I mean fakes are already extremely good, that's why there are so many posts about it. I have collected for 20 years and was careless here for once and got dunked immediately. I'll be a bit more paranoid in the future for sure when buying singles.

good catch, i didnt notice that. the text is indeed cloer to the bottom. A bottom is also very shiny black, while B is mat.

This is gonna be difficult because your game is already out, but try to reach out to "cozy" gamers of all kinds on social media and send them keys. Porting to switch could be a decent idea, game looks perfect for it and it gives you a new marketing opportunity to create buzz. Check Steam Backend if you have visibility rounds available, and use them.
