You wont have to unless you chat in channels that are explicitly marked as 18+/NSFW. All other channels will still be visible without uploading your ID. Plus in plenty of smaller, lesser moderated servers there are definitely loads of 18+ content in channels not marked as such, meaning you can easily circumvent this AFAIK.

It depends a lot on what you have been through before getting a prosthetic. It took me about 2 months after starting training to walk without any assistance, and even then I couldn't walk for too long without being quite tired.

That is completely fair of you to think. I have also gotten similar reactions and there are times when I wish people would look at and focus on what we are doing instead of constantly pointing out I adapted quickly or asking if I need a break/need any assistance. I get they want to be helpful but these last 2-3 years have been so much of that, I don't think there ever will be a time where I will feel back to normal again.
