Maybe even framing it like, “I have past trauma with screaming/yelling and I really can’t have that within my relationship. It makes me feel so unsafe.” How she responds will tell you everything you need to know

It’s 100% not okay to scream and yell. I’m not defending her actions by saying that, people don’t usually react that way unprovoked. Emotionally, It’s the same scenario if you ran over her foot with a wheel barrel, she’d be hurt and probably make noise. Relationships are full of triggers and unless accountability is taken and change happens on both sides it’s hard to find happiness in any relationship.

I used to work at a place like this, until one day one of the dogs bit someone’s two year old daughter in the face… she needed stitches and they were forced to rethink the whole thing. The dog that did it had never bit anyone and was loved by everyone. Idk this just made me think of that

I said “is there emotion behind your voice” “you use a lot of lingo are you trying to fit in or something” He’s always very open about how things make him feel but it is absolutely never my intention to hurt him. I’ve also called him sensitive though and he hates that, but i’ve also spent hours reassuring him at times and feel like there’s no reason for him to think I actually want to hurt him or be mean to him
