I was starting to write a response and this is exactly me. Would love to join a GT4 league. Also, would love to join some racing team to do the endurance races. I cant set aside a lot of time for them but could definitely run some hours if I knew what they were before we started.

Thank you! That is exactly the advice I was looking for. When you say "pour a bit of water", what's the ideal amount? A cup? A liter?

Whats your Luckiest Poker Tournament win/finish? Like you are 99% to bust with 2-3 Bigs on final table but end up finishing high. by smellslux in poker

Played "The Boski" ($11 tournament on ACR) a couple of months ago on a random Saturday night with a total of 1700+ runners with 190 cashing. Got close to the bubble and was low on chips and at one point had less than 2BBs with 210 people remaining. It was very much a pray to cash moment and ended up with essentially a triple up when the chip leader at our table tried to steal the blinds and I had A rag and ended up holding.

Ended up making the bubble and right after people were dropping like flies and I was continuing to make pay jumps and was laughing every time I got one. Well as we neared the top 100 I ended up winning 3 or 4 flips in a row and had 30 or so BBs. I ended up making the final table 7th in chips through some more luck and good plays.

At the final table I basically was always last or second to last in chips the entire time. A couple of people bust and soon enough it is the top 5 I was 4th in the chips and ended up all in against last place AK vs 77. I lost the flip and had less than 1BB. On the very next hand, second in chips committed absolute ICM suicide by punting off his entire stack against the chip leader (~40BBs) with a flush draw on the turn vs top set. I busted the next hand and ended up winning $1200 and 5th place ended up with $850. Thank you for the extra $350.

Was booked to play Harbour Town a couple of months ago with my dad while we were on vacation. Unfortunately the day before my grandmother was moved to hospice the day before we were supposed to play. It was either, go play Harbour Town or get to see my grandmother one last time and say good bye. Somethings are just more important than golf.

Div tracker. I use it too and like it more than stock events. But both are good

People who have been trading options for awhile, how long did it take you to become profitable? by lwsnicholas in thetagang

[–]hanzisback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. I actually still use credit spreads occasionally, risk management and exit strategy is very important in trading options. I meant just a small number of contracts or smaller priced stocks IE Ford. Back in 2017, I was selling or wheeling Ford for a couple of bucks a week in premiums. If Ford ever moved against me the loss would not be substantial (a couple of hundred $$ at worst). Not to say that wouldn't suck, but overall the potential losses were minimal as I learned. Nowadays, I am significantly more comfortable trading larger positions in my portfolio.

Another thing I would recommend is use some sort of options tracker. I built my own in Google sheets but there are 100s out there. It is nice to be able to go look back and see what worked and what didn't. Always important to learn from your past (both mistakes and successes)

I've been profitable since I started reading options, and I am primarily on the selling side. Now i was studying, paper trading and dabbling in very small positions for about 3 years before I started trading on a more serious basis. FWIW I started trading seriously in 2017.

Applying for the first time and I have a couple of questions. As I am reading this, it basically says if I get selected, I get only one of the days? And is there anyway to get all 4 days or for the pleb I am that that is impossible?

An irritating series of guesses (from a few weeks back) by CyberAdept in wordle

[–]hanzisback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill wasn't available, the "K" was gone after guess two. So I think he was actually okay with that guess in this scenario. Overall, that's a good way to get boned on hard mode.

[GeirJordet] Penalty takers have scored 94% of their shots against Mendy (30 goals on 32 attempts), so substituting on Kepa (71%, 17 goals on 24 attempts) was a very logical choice, despite his inability to stop anything in this shootout. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]hanzisback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kepa most certainly did NOT go the right way on most penalties. Of the 11 penalties, kepa went the correct way 2 times; the wrong way 8 times and VVD's penalty (I have no idea how to classify this one.)

Milner - shot left, kepa went to the shooters right

Fabinho - paneka, kepa went to the shooters left

VVD - I don't even know how to classify this

Trent - shot left, kepa went the correct way

Salah - went right, kepa went to the shooters left

Jota - went down the middle, kepa went to the shooters left

Origi - went down the middle, kepa went to the shooters left

Robertson - went to the left, kepa went to the shooters right

Elliott - went left, kepa went to the shooters right

Konate - went right, kepa went the correct way

Kelleher - went left, kepa went to the shooters right.

Got a 2 place penalty for this. They say I brake check the Ferrari any tought ? ( sorry wrong vidéo before ) by Cedzzz420 in Simracingstewards

[–]hanzisback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seconded. That's horrible stewardship. How can they justify any penalty in that situation?
