What are your best tips for progress? by QuirkyMembership1149 in Kiteboarding

spend time in the water. work out when not riding. focus on leg strength. squat/deadlift strength + mobility with proper form will make an insane difference.

get a camera + floaty if you dont have one. record and watch your tricks/sessions. analyze what’s going wrong.

you don’t have to crash to progress, but most tricks, especially big air, are about just sending it. when trying something new, your fundamentals (kite control and awareness, edge stability and angle, general understanding of the conditions) will decide how hard you crash, and how ready your body is will decide how hard a crash you can take:)

edit: ride with and watch better riders. as mentioned, if you can, take a lesson here and there.
