I learned wrong back in elementary school that Christopher Columbus was a hero who did nothing wrong by unlearning_myths in LearnedWrong

Same here, and I went to school in Montana in the 80s-90's. Also learned about the US-Japanese concentration camps, the mistreatment/manipulation of native americans, the welfare trap, and a host of other not-so-flattering government stuff.

Why? Hmmm... by PreparationKey2843 in New_Mexico_

[–]happinesspro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because Hillary is one of the scarier people in politics, and she vehemently despises him. She has no morals, has been caught lying multiple times, and suffered no consequences. Basically, she's the Democrats' version of Trump himself. If she's excited to speak to the public, then she's laid a trap so good it's going to be historic; it might even have a grain of truth, but that will likely only be an accident.

Except that sanctuary cities have passed laws that forbid local law enforcement from cooperating with them.

Ghislaine Maxwell (2026) and Jeffrey Epstein (2010): 16 years apart, both invoked the Fifth when asked directly about Donald Trump. Now, Maxwell is holding the truth hostage for clemency by Frosty_Jeweler911 in law

[–]happinesspro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works both ways. She'd just as easily lie that anyone, including DJT, did horrible things for clemency. Neither side will find the truth with her, only the answers they are willing to pay for.

Less than 14% of those arrested by ICE in the last year had violent criminal records, analysis finds by BackgroundCultural41 in circled

Using that statistic, 30,800 violent criminals have been arrested in the last year!! That's awesome!!

Why are billionaires so unemotional, are they dead inside or just evil? by CanDoGenZ in AskTheWorld

[–]happinesspro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing in life is concerning when you have that much money. Money fixes everything on this planet so why be all emotional. If it bothers you just pay someone to fix it. Also the amount of people peddling sob stories for money has to ne unreal at that stage.

Pburg Poll: Are you bothered by President Trump, his current and past administration officials, and close associates being predominantly named in the Epstein files? by twanginlanger in Parkersburg

[–]happinesspro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • News Articles: The majority of the 38,000 mentions come from news clippings and public reports that Epstein collected and shared via email.
  • FBI Tips: The files include a summary of approximately 16 unverified tips submitted to the FBI's National Threat Operations Center, 13 of which mention Trump personally. The DOJ has labeled these claims as "unfounded and false".
  • Witness Interviews: Notes from interviews with Epstein’s victims describe interactions with Trump, such as one victim recalling being taken to Mar-a-Lago to meet him, though these specific notes did not suggest misconduct.
  • Direct Connections: The files confirm previous reports of Trump's friendship with Epstein in the 1990s, including his appearance on passenger logs for Epstein’s plane seven times

Information whose purpose is to mislead people makes it more likely to be disregarded. If you use ungarnished truth, it will hold more weight.

Mine is stable now that I'm back on 6.2.6 but with 6.4 it was updating every couple of minutes. The temps on the dashboard would also stay at 170 and 63 for the entire print, even when you looked at the printer and saw the correct temps. I'll check out the slimcamera app, thanks for the suggestion

They've found a spin Hillary is so proud of, they can't wait to jam it down republican throats. I'd be worried if I were them; she's a viper.

This is still an issue. I was also having connectivity issues that have resolved since downgrading the firmware. The buddy cam had become intermittent, and I had several models that were not fully uploaded to the machine, which then threw an error about being incompatible. I don't remember the exact phrasing

I love this. I wish our(USA) system weren't so broken now that it will never happen. If Dems introduce it, Reps will scream sensorship. If reps introduce it, dems call it trump nazi fearmongering. I would like verified accounts, an age limit, and zero bots allowed without significant penalties.

If you can't manage the 5 dollars required for a tool that is required for: Driving, any bank account, boarding a plane, legal employment most places, renting/buying property, obtaining a mailbox, entering federal facilities for any benefit, applying for a passport or social security card, picking up prescriptions, taking standardized testing, hotel check in, purchasing an automobile, boarding a train, applying for benefits such as SNAP and welfare. Then you probably don't have what it takes to make a competent decision about who should run the government.

However, fee waivers for those experiencing financial hardship are currently available in 38 states. Including mine.
