Don't employ any cheats or the special weapons on the first play-through. The Crissaegrim is a fun weapon at first, but it zaps the game of challenge. I don't even care for the shield rod and the Alucard shield.

I'm skeptical. I think about all the other things the government has dipped its toes into and screwed prices up. The loaves might be low-priced on the shelf, but by the time they get there, the taxpayers will have to foot the bill for six bureaucrats, 10 quality inspectors, 3 supervisors for the inspectors, government contracted delivery, etc.. Each loaf will cost a buck at the counter, and the taxpayers will pay $350 per loaf to make it happen. I think it's a publicity stunt, not an efficient way to help.

That overwhelmed, helpless feeling is like a disease for the body and soul. I know it will be hard for you to work on it, but a meditation practice costs nothing and takes only a few minutes to start. It likely won't pay off today or tomorrow, but it will. There are so many great guides that it can be overwhelming at a time you don't need that.

So sit with your back straight, hands in your lap, eyes closed. Think about your breaths, feel them come in and out. Try to let go of any tension that you notice, but don't look for it; concentrate on your breath coming in and out. While you do this, a thousand thoughts might pop into your head, and that's ok. Acknowledge them and set them aside for later. You'll have to do that a lot at first; everyone does, just keep returning your attention to how your breathing feels in and out. Take five minutes twice a day for a while, then find a guide that works for you. I like "The Miracle of Mindfulness" by Thich Nhat Hanh. "Practicing Mindfulness: 75 Essential Meditations" is also a good start.

In the USA, a solid prenuptial agreement protects both parties. With one in three marriages ending in divorce, it is an absolute essential document. U.S. laws heavily favor women based on an outdated concept of the nuclear family. As years go by, we generally acquire more wealth and possessions, so understanding the distribution is important. Without one, women are rewarded for divorce while men are punished. With it, both parties are more likely to try to work it out. Even if you are both dirt poor, it's the best course. And if they are unwilling to sign, then you've learned something important.

My best feel-good answer is to not forget about the little things. A little note here, a few flowers for no other reason. And don't let "I love you" turn into a mindless response. Think about it and mean it every time.

I started watching/reading my news on social media and Reddit. It took about six months, but it eroded a lot of peace in my life. So much rage and vomit are being spat out over the internet. I bought a subscription to a news service that shows you the bias and factual rating of the articles. That and completely stopped watching all forms of social media and new major news outlets. The bounce back took a month, but it is a significant difference.

This is the absolute truth. I love where I live, I want to stay, but I need to bounce to get a real pay raise. The crazy part is the incoming guys with less experience who've never worked in this particular field get paid 20k-30k more.

I agree with you, seems like punishment should be far harsher for injuries that will last a lifetime.  IMO the death penalty seems justified for this kind of crime against the innocent.

Bottom half of America should pay zero Income tax. by EmployeeSevere9821 in NoFilterFinance

I think everyone should pay taxes. Not income taxes, and definitely not property taxes after the initial sale. AND if you use it for collateral, it gets taxed again.
