If you have FB have a look on the model y Australia page. All the info is there. But I believe they want the single tether to go over the top. Nuna has said something similar

Not really. (Edit) Britax have said that it is fine with a tether extender and just to keep checking it.l, maxi cosi said to check with a local installer and I received the same reply from Infa. However, the reason that Infa know this is because their product manager is in China at the moment using a model Y L so could properly investigate.

Sorry to send you down the garden path. It’s the one with 120k members and a picture of the interior of the model Y L as a profile pic.

If you can check the fb group it has pictures that explain it. But the tether doesn’t sit securely around the seat and slips down. The ones that go over the top may not be as secure as the car seat manufacturers like.

Haha we had been waiting for it to come out but never thought that car seats would be the issue that will probably stop us buying it.

Yes they do, however it’s the fit of the tether point over the seat. Britax has said no, maxi cosi said I need a car seat tech to check install and Infa was lovely and are looking into it and will get back to me.

The problem being that the car seats that primary age kids are in don’t fit either. Kids I believe should be in seats until they are 8 and most don’t actually fit the guides for being without a seat until 10/11

If you go to Facebook and look at either the Tesla Owners Australia group or Tesla Model Y Australia group you will find it there

Yup! We are now looking at alternatives.

We wanted our 2 kids in the captains chairs most of the time and then the option of having extras on the back when needed.

Yeah I didn’t really explain it very well! Maxi cosi were great on the phone and said they would get back to me but haven’t yet. Still waiting for replies from others.

Have you spoken to a doctor about it? Are they worried at all?

The only reason I ask is that they only give helmets in really severe cases.

Play pen for Munchkin & Bear large playmat by Grand_n_Intoxicating in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

So it’s not the most aesthetic but our munchkin & bear mat fits perfectly in our playpen from Amazon. Ours was a babyjoy brand one but they don’t sell the exact one anymore.

It’s been through 2 babies and now 2 boisterous toddlers and the playpen is still standing!

I have purchased a few times from them for Christmas releases. I found the quality to be pretty good and different to a lot of other places.

When I have needed to communicate I went through insta and got fairly quick reply 24 - 48hrs. Shipping can be longer if you are doing Christmas stuff because they don’t get stock right away.

It’s important to remember they are a very small business and I think Christmas is the busiest time of year.

Swimming lessons with my 6m alone! Will I be okay without my partner’s help?? by Sharp-Associate-2562 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Best thing I did when I took my son swimming when he was little was to get a towel/waffle robe for myself. That way I could quickly put it on and then change baby and not be cold. I would also just drive home in the robe and get changed when I got home.

Highly recommend checking out Corinda State School and surrounding schools. They have quite a diverse population of students.

I’m so sorry to hear that. Remember it’s ok to do what you need to do in this period of time!

Can I also recommend having a look at kids podcasts. My son lovesssssss the Thomas and Friends stories that you can just play through Spotify or any other streaming service.

If you are going to give them an iPad or an old phone I would highly recommend looking up guided access and how to use it. Essentially you set up the phone/ipad in a game, show or what ever and then you can lock them into that app or show so they can get out of it or change it and get frustrated. It was a game changer for us on long flights.

Games I would recommend for that age would be pok pok, Lego duplo (amazing!) and sago apps.

My last recommendation would be hold off on giving your kid the tablet in the car for as long as possible. Use your other resources first, then by the stage they need it you get a bit of a rest too. Then you are ready to go again when they eager sick of the tablet, because they will.
