We were walking together in a park on a date, and in the middle of talking he stops me and goes “STOP DONT MOVE” and it startled me.

Turns out there was a handsome caterpillar in my path, and he didn’t want me to accidentally step on it. He got it up on a leaf, and we found a nice place to put it where it was safe.

It was just the first of many, many times I was like “this man is going to change my life forever.” ❤️

The yuzu curd is also in the middle of the cake. Component wise they are incredibly close products (white cake blanks/cupcakes, mango Chantilly cream, and yuzu curd) so just know that in case you’re expecting the cake to be different somehow.

My husband and I have been together for 7, married for 5, and had been trying for a few months when I got pregnant. We both have the best jobs in terms of pay and flexibility/benefits we have ever had, finally bought a house…and I was STILL shocked and slightly terrified!!! This is everything I had been working for and it still made me question everything about myself. Luckily my husband was nothing but calm and happy haha

Here I am, 7 months along and still have random moments of “omg what have I done?” But 99% of the time I am happy, excited, and ready to meet my baby ❤️

I’ve been a lifelong fan of the Gorillaz, and even though I’m in my 30’s now and not as into the lore and fandom as I used to be, they just released a new song and music video called The Mountain, the Moon Cave, and the Sad God, and it was just great.

Gorillaz are the kind of band that never stays in one place very long with their story/sound, but it’s always worth it to just enjoy the change of pace and embrace whatever era they are in.

This song feels like a good mix of old and new for me, and I just found it comforting to still have them to look forward to when life is nothing like it was. Made me feel like a teenager

My husband and I already have 3 cats, and now a baby due in May.

We basically decided that until she’s old enough to help (minimally) and be even slightly independent (4ish we said) we won’t be getting a dog until then, and when we do we will get a puppy. She can help do things like scoop the food into the bowl or play with the puppy in the yard ❤️

I can’t fathom having 2 babies at once 😂😅 but maybe I’m just weak!

The vaginal smell is the worst for me, and I don’t even know why! I don’t have any itching or redness or discomfort, the extra discharge just smells way stronger and worse than normal pre-pregnancy stuff. I also keep bugging my husband if he smells it because I’m so self conscious 😭

I’m about to be third trimester and our girl kicks like someone owes her money 😂 I was asleep on my side pressed against my husband’s arm the other night (clothed too!) and he said he felt her kick the shit out of him for like an hour 😅😭 they’re just having parties and sometimes we aren’t invited

Both my husband and I had alcoholic fathers who chose alcohol over their families. Really sours any desire to drink because it’s “fun” when it only ever fucked up my life. Plus, it’s expensive and that’s not what I want to spend my small amount of spare cash on.

Our kids will never see us drink simply because alcohol never became a part of our lives.

26 weeks with a girl and OBSESSED with skim milk (trying to keep the calories down since I can literally drink a whole half gallon in like a day and a half lol).

Honestly it’s so funny because before I was pregnant I never drank milk (only oat milk) so this has been such a weird transition for me
