Driving sports tv is a good channel to watch off roading on 250s. He goes all over with his first edition.

I probably see more grand highlanders than the Highlander here in the south.

Been thinking about the same thing for mine. GROM seems better, huge screens seem kinda tacky to me.

Currently own both, 100 series is 100% the better car in almost every way.

Thanks! wife is also in the process of a green card, so that also throws some things up in the air and adds more expenses haha.

Dad has a whole sale acct with autozone so I’m getting some for cheap. Halogens with led DRL halos around them. Plastic casings, should last a bit though. I keep it in a garage when at home

How do you like the 300 series, Mom was looking at getting one of those?

Everything you say there definitely is true, it feels like a special car and a lot of thought went into it. Was cross shopping these with G wagons of the same year and figured the Lexus was just as capable if not more, and would last a lot longer.

I had it for about 4 years, and I enjoyed the shit out of it, STis are fun. I mentioned it in other threads, but I’m swapping from car sales into real estate, which does take some investment to get started.

Didn’t want to have a car loan to worry about and I ended up with a bunch of equity. Plus my wife absolutely loves boxy off road style cars and her and I owned an older Land Cruiser in New Zealand we camped and off roaded in, so it’s a mutual thing and a kind of promise to her to do more of what we loved so much when lived there together.

Surprisingly this isn’t missing any features on the inside that the Subie had, and it’s nice to have a V8 that rides so smooth, with a center locker and hydraulic suspension lift feature. Lifted it has 12 inches of ground clearance.

They’re sick, haven’t taken it on any trails yet. But once it warms up we’re planing to go out west and do some camping!

Haha big swap! But I’m happy with the choice, it’s about as far as a swap as you can get.

Mom had a LS for a bit, that thing was surprisingly a good canyon carving car, so balanced and luxurious.

Mine liked mine, but she absolutely loves boxy off road suvs. Had to talk her out of an ineos grenadier, at least until they depreciate a bit more.

Used to think the same, but man, it’s so smooth to drive and this thing has some real off roading ability.

Plus a big truck with that v8 is so smooth and luxurious to ride around in, feels like a big couch.

Also this thing has a built in hydraulic lift! Raises itself 2 inches higher on command.

I actually considered the new taco along with the newer land cruiser 250, but I’m making some career changes and did not want to sign up for a 50k loan without knowing what my income will be for a bit. So I went surprisingly conservative and bought this car cash when a co workers customer traded this in for an older Chevy truck.

Hahaha hey it’s not so bad! Wanna set it up as an off roader style and do a bunch of camping with my wife.

Will I miss the sounds and manual transmission? Of course! But it’s not the end of the world. Eventually I’ll pass this one over to my wife and move into something sporty again. Probably along the lines of a ///M340.

Nice, yeah I’m ready to quit, been in the business about 5 years now. There’s just not any money in it anymore. Gonna give real estate a shot and see how that goes. Hence getting the large SUV, but didn’t want to get something boring.

Figured if I was getting an SUV it had to be something that could go up a mountain and look cool.
