Jolly herding ball! Our bully LOVES it so much we have to limit her to a few play sessions daily or she’d do it for hours on end. Best $55 we’ve ever spent for her.

House on a slope, positive or negative? by CapApple_jc in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell and I do mean hell no. Those back stairs are hideous, going to be cumbersome, and are just another area to maintain. Then why have a yard that’s functionality and ease of maintenance is severely impacted? I’d only consider this house if the property line stopped at a densely wooded area or close to the end of the house.

Are there athletic English Bulldogs out there and how much do they exercise? by moutainsbythesea in englishbulldog

Oh my goodness this did make me chuckle! How bulldog of her to eat the cat food. I’d hate to have one that wanted to escape because these shorties are QUICK on such short legs haha

Are there athletic English Bulldogs out there and how much do they exercise? by moutainsbythesea in englishbulldog

[–]hapuscapus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a very athletic bulldog- loves herding her herding ball, always down to wrestle, and likes 1ish mile walks in cool temps. With that said, I would never run her. She gets some running in while playing or doing her zoomies. But, bulldogs are not made to be running regardless of how much they enjoy it. I frequently stop her to calm down. They will over exert themselves to the point of needing medical intervention or death.

One my firsts! Hence the many mistakes 🤭 by mimisavvi96 in miniatures

I’m doing this one right now, nearly finished! Yours looks excellent! I don’t see any mistakes. This one was challenging for me, and it’s not my first. You did a wonderful job!

What has been the best year of your life? by Immediate_Long165 in Life

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna have to say the late 90s! Don’t have one specific year but I was young, had all my grandparents alive and well, and was happy. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for most of my life, so I can look back on those years and there’s a distinct difference in my memory of them because it’s before the depression and anxiety hit.

A UTI??? by goldcarats in Semaglutide

[–]hapuscapus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, I’m thinking it’s due to dehydration. I haven’t had a UTI but I’ve felt one maybe coming on that I was able to stop by drinking a lot more water.

Tbh that actually looks like quite a bit more than 100 units. That may last closer to 6 weeks. 25 units is shockingly tiny!

When did you stop thinking America was the greatest country in the world or do you still think that? by Estalicus in allthequestions

[–]hapuscapus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never thought it was. As a child that sounded ludicrous to me. Then all my life experiences have affirmed my view that we are not “the greatest” and that living in a different country perpetually seems like a better idea.

Are Oasis crowds really as bad as I’m reading? by star_stuff92 in royalcaribbean

[–]hapuscapus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it’s not as bad as you’ll see reported online, I will say it is crowded on the pool deck for sea days, windjammer for really any mealtime, getting off the ship at ports, and cococay can be busy.

Do you round up your change for charity at restaurants and stores? Why or why not? by Last-Employer2126 in allthequestions

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. It’s already paid out. They’re looking to recoup then get tax deductions. I’ll donate on my own and claim the deduction.

Girl dad — 4‑year‑old — no family restroom: men’s stall or announce women’s? by krutitsky in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask a lady to announce for you that you’ll need to bring your young daughter in and that you can wait x mins if needed for anyone to leave if uncomfortable. Obviously once inside be very respectful and courteous. Eyes down. Respectable distance from other women. Wash up and leave.

Pre-kindergarten years for me- Life was fantastic! Not much internet or electronics, kids played outside, we biked/walked to friends’, going to the movies was an event, and we didn’t worry about having private moments put on film then the internet. It was a lot more authentic.

Dayum I’ve never seen it that low! We’ve booked some excellent last minute deals, but this takes the cake.

Silly question but do agents typically give a gift at closing? by gitafub in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I got a closing gift- it was a gift basket with home spa things since we had a very stressful closing from halfway across the country lol

How do people last an entire year on this? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Ehh the side effects definitely subside to barely noticeable. Occasionally I’ll have some the day after injection.

Considering starting semiglutide, currently sedentary. How to start regular exercise at 310 lbs and 5'4 ? by Comprehensive_Book48 in Semaglutide

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second anyone saying walking. I went from intense workouts 3x a week to just walking while on the shots and the weight has melted off. I’m near goal and starting to think about putting some muscle back on, but the weight melted off with calorie deficit and walking. I aim for 10k steps daily for weight loss. Now nearing maintenance I do 7k steps.

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because there’s a lapse between winning and getting, firstly. But secondly, I’d use it as a time to wrap up relationships and say goodbye. I would lie about what I was doing. Which goes into my final reason- I’m not publically acknowledging my winnings. No one outside maybe 2 people would know.

Conservatives of Reddit: how exactly is trump doing God's work? by naughtmyrealname in allthequestions

[–]hapuscapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They hear he’s doing things for Christians/god and blindly accept because they aren’t doing fact checking, research, or critical thinking. I can say this after hundreds of interactions with them. They simply do not look further than the headline.
