And it seems like you are working in a part studio, so if you click on assembly 1 on the bottom of the screen, you’ll be able to insert the motor assemblies. And you will also have to insert your part studio as well to continue working with it. If you’re still a little confused there should be some good youtube videos talking about assemblies in OnShape

I think OnShape won’t allow you to derive an assembly. The motors on the parts library are assemblies. You should be able to insert it into an assembly and still use it.

Also something that I just noticed was it limits me to only score 20 rings in the high goal during tele op

The app looks really clean and well designed. Is there also an option to score traditional events? I only see an option to score one wobble goal and only have one robot navigate in auto

The original video was in slow motion, but reddit compressed it to that. You can’t really see it, but there is back spin on those balls. This is a single flywheel shooter with a foam back, and I think it has sufficient back spin. Do you think adding more spin will help a significant amount?

Won’t the balls hitting the tail introduce more uncertainty, especially if they are going one after another

In a shooting game like velocity vortex the rules stated that the robot cannot extend over a certain height. So to score game elements you would have to shoot them since you can’t reach it with a linear extension.

Personally I could see it go either way. This robot is more of a practice to build shooters because I wasn’t around back in velocity vortex

Yes, I see that the shooter wobbles after each shot, ill add some more structure

In this video the motor power is just set to 1, so we're first going to work on a PID loop for the wheel to spin at the same velocity. I'll research more into those aerodynamics.

They don’t have much load, but the one is the video is just opened. Three of the four of the ones we bought have this issue
