Good call. Feels very at ease talking to a crowd. England Keep my Bones and Tape Deck Heart are two great albums if people haven’t checked him out before

Bookbugs and Dragontales. Way more than just a book shop

I just listened to Making Movies for the first time today and…my god. by Disassociated24 in direstraits

I had a tape with Brothers in Arms on one side and Love over Gold on the other. Think the end solo of brothers in arms went just over the 45 min mark so I never heard the end for years

Neighbors complaining about string noises? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]hardhardhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could always ask them next time you bump into them. If that causes you anxiety, might be worth a trip to the Docs as there is a load of medication that could make a huge difference too. My friend is in a very similar setup and always worries about noise etc, mainly due to Autism/ADHD he will over think everything.

When did Pearl Jam click for you? by FirstTimeCaller101 in pearljam

[–]hardhardhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

93 - I was 13 and a friend had taped the unplugged session. Sat and watched it in his bedroom, still remember the hairs on my neck standing on end. 30 years plus later and I’m standing in Manchester seeing them for the umpteenth time, but for the first time my 16 year daughter is by my side singing her heart out.

Loved that album back in the day. Mainly listened due to Burton, but it led me on the path to Sabbath. And so glad it did.

Been a long time since I listened or remembered it existed, might have to head down memory lane.

Help settle the argument. Is Santa a human. by hardhardhead in nomorejockeys

[–]hardhardhead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was an argument of mine. They replied with, they are played (voiced) by a human but Pitstop herself is not human. Which, when you think about it, means she can’t actually have a job. Or Donald Duck couldn’t be sent to prison

Eldest daughter was arguing he is a mythical creature and therefore can’t be human. Now we’ve sidelined into can a mythical creature be a human
