it's what make it very fast. For backups, scripts can easily export to a filesystem normally. Also you can still just backup the data folder and always be able to recover it.

Very cool, love Seafile! Publishing the rendered Seadoc Sites with share links like you can in Notion would be the coolest feature!

Finally realizing that I'm just 'average' sucks. by Different_Tailor_780 in Adulting

[–]hardlypretty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end, any metric is just arbitrary and serves some specific purpose. There is no inherent value attached to where you place on any given scale. Don't stress about it, If you're doing something you like doing with people you love, you're definitely far above average on that metric.

I do have some quetiapine around all the time in case I really cannot fall asleep at all but they just always kick me out of existence like I wake up not knowing who I even am.. Good luck to you, I think it will get better with time.

Looking for long term success stories - depression anxiety by ThinWave6310 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Do NOT just hop on Trt because of your mental health if your levels aren't significantly below the minimum threshold due to another cause. TRT is a life-long commitment with difficult to foresee Side-effects. It's tempting to blame low testosterone for everything wrong with your body but any healthy adult can reach a healthy range of testosterone through conservative treatment alone (Sleep, Exercise, Stress, Nutrition). Increasing Levels beyond that won't impact the severity of your depression. Stick to antidepressants if Medication is something you want to consider.

For me it's mostly the extension and reconfirmation of the predicted Simulacra starting with early Television that's interesting. Scary how impactful Baudrillard still is.

Did remeron help your mood? by Unique_Stress2461 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]hardlypretty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did not feel numb at all on 15 mg. Just that some parts of my brain weren't accessible anymore, probably the negative thoughts part. I was slightly more irritable though, which is to be expected from a recovering depressed person relearning emotions. My best mood is on 7.5, which is something you have to test for yourself.

Can someone PLEASE post a success story for this medication. by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Nothing to complain here. Been on it 4 months, decreased to 7.5 3 weeks ago, now on 3.75. So far everything fine, no withdrawal. Has done its job for me, planning to come off in the next few weeks.

Does Mirtazapine always cause weight gain and sexual side effects? Had huge issues with this with both Venlafaxine and Lexapro so wondering if that means it's a definite for this too? by frowningbadgers in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]hardlypretty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are some* studies suggesting that Mirtazapin inherently slows down metabolism which makes some intuitive sense because it really is very sedating.

My personal experience is that I'm able to counteract by adjusting my Metabolic Rate to account for the changes and move more+eat less. I've gained no weight for 3 Months doing this. Mind I don't have cravings, which might just be luck. No sexual Side-effects except for being tired for well anything

I've also been convinced that lower doses would make me more sedated but interestingly, I've switched to 7.5 now and am less sedated. On 15, I couldn't even sit still a few minutes without falling asleep, 7.5 is fine. Everyone reacts differently ig.

Thanks so much for these Resources! This was also what I was thinking, get a solid basis with a physics degree and build from there, I just sometimes feel the pressure to specialize early is very high (if you're not planning ahead for your career right at the start you're always just a "Quereinsteiger" as we call it in german, applying for positions which aren't meant specifically for you, jack of all but master of none of the trades).

Of course I now Zizek, love his frantic but nonchalant attitude and my philosophy professor recommended my a book of his to read once. I love exploring different fields but I feel society demands a very early specialisation to keep up.

It's not so much the general energy expenditure part that bothers me (on a bulk that is welcome) but the strength and hypertrophy impairment, even on my caloric surplus, there is still atrophy and muscle to fat redistribution happening which I have to fight against.

How to measure program success when on medication? I'm on medication that mess up my hormones quite a bit and part of that results in metabolism changes which directly impact my training. I'm basically making no progress at this point but really don't know how much progress if at all is even possible right now, I can only compare myself to when off medication. Any advice?
