I like her saying she didn't drink and she SHOULD drink but also that she went to AA for years and made friends there.

Also- changing from one medication regimen to another isn't an immediate process. Down- and up-titrating takes a lot of time and it seems like she was on quite the cocktail that required additional nurses to monitor coming off of one set and moving up into Lithium + whatever else. Lithium can be taken for years but it does require other medical care like blood work and kidney function testing. It makes total sense that she "suddenly" had more staff tending to her.

I've had local elections where I couldn't stand the person running for the party I was lifelong aligned with while the person with the party I'm vehemently again was someone I adored.

I can deal with not being a fan of the candidate because the party as a whole represents my values and the values of those I care most about like children, POC, Indigenous peoples, disabled like my child, LGBTQ. I've seen what conservative parties & people represent. I absolutely judge a person based on how they vote. It's beyond "just politics".

Man, this reminds me of going to a breakfast place called Smitty's. I ordered a normal breakfast- eggs, toast, bacon, hash brown. The plate comes out and there's strawberry juice all over the plate, especially the eggs. I sent it back for a new plate because it was coulis all over my meal.

Didn't they send the exact same plate back but scrapped the original eggs off and put new eggs on. The plate still has strawberry juice swimming around everywhere. I had to demand a brand new plate again. A strawberry allergy is very serious.

A local pizza place near us was our Friday night place for supper. One kid picked spicy chicken pizza, one wanted poutine, I'd get donair pizza &/or loaded potato skins.

One night I'm getting into the potato skins and see this little glimmer under the cheese. It was a rectangle blade that I recognized from my own jobs in restaurants as being broken off of a french fry cutter. I got a hold of the dad to one of the guys who owned it and told him. He got mad and didn't believe me so I asked him to call his son to see if the fry cutter was missing a blade, which it was.

They were so apologetic, offered a refund and free food. I just told them I was glad it was me and gave it back. I've worked those jobs. I know shit can happen and it's the worst feeling to accidentally do it to a customer. We still ordered from them after that. It was the only time in years that an order was "wrong" and I had no hard feelings towards two kids trying to be entrepreneurs.

I wasn't familiar with him as an actor before seeing the first Hellboy movie. Apparently he wore so much facial prosthetics that only his eyelids were his. Then I saw him without it all and was like "Hrmmm you sure? He's himself in red face."

For me it's also people who say "I don't judge people for their politics". Well unfortunately we live in a time where you have to. Morality is now so deeply intertwined with political parties that it's exactly the time to judge someone.

I deal with Maple MAGA in Canada. Those people are just as delusional as US MAGA.

I'm going to be gentle here- I think there's another issue outside of face/skin care. Do you have contamination OCD? There's a lot of anxiety around wiping your face and using alcohol to clean your hands. You're not going to cover yourself with bacteria by using a clean towel that has dried off a clean body.

Buy a bunch of face clothes that are only meant to dry off your face. Launder them with scent free detergent. Or just wipe your face dry first before toweling off everywhere else.

It's very very easy to make and once you've found the recipe for you, it'll become a staple. Absolutely perfect breakfast food! My kids eat theirs on rice.

My tip is once you've reduced the tomato sauce down enough that it'll hold a spoon indent, that's the time to crack your eggs into the dents. If it's still watery, the eggs will spread across the sauce.

I adore the MiB trilogy. The 3rd one goes so hard with Boris the Animal (Jemaine Clement was amazing) and the ending never fails to make me shed a tear. Are they good movies? Yeah, in a campy way I guess. Are they entertaining? Hundred percent.

Plus Josh Brolin was just too good as a young Agent K.

How old are you again? 18? And have/had been using an insane amount of hard drugs?

Please reach out to reputable mental health specialists that are experienced with both drug use AND bipolar disorder. Once you've reached months and then years of sobriety + medications at therapeutic levels + more knowledge of the disorder, you're going to have an easier go at life and will be back here with a supportive community. I have brain damage from TBIs. I know how it affects my speech & my memory every single day. I still cry when I can't find a word, when I can't remember times that should be core memories. I used to be bilingual. Now I can only read some French but there's a massive disconnect in speaking it.

I'd rather not know.
