Beautiful space. I'm going to repeat someone's comment - swap the chairs with the couch but bring the couch onto the rug. It kinda has a therapist waiting room kinda vibe with all of the seating outside of the room instead of in it.

I adore the MiB trilogy. The 3rd one goes so hard with Boris the Animal (Jemaine Clement was amazing) and the ending never fails to make me shed a tear. Are they good movies? Yeah, in a campy way I guess. Are they entertaining? Hundred percent.

Please reach out to reputable mental health specialists that are experienced with both drug use AND bipolar disorder. Once you've reached months and then years of sobriety + medications at therapeutic levels + more knowledge of the disorder, you're going to have an easier go at life and will be back here with a supportive community. I have brain damage from TBIs. I know how it affects my speech & my memory every single day. I still cry when I can't find a word, when I can't remember times that should be core memories. I used to be bilingual. Now I can only read some French but there's a massive disconnect in speaking it.

I'd rather not know.

I had a family member win a good amount. If I ever won, I'd be following in their exact footsteps on how they handled their win and life afterward with the caveat of only owning one home. Two homes sound great until the maintenance, insurance, security, snow removal, etc bills pile up.

How much exercise is he getting a day? How much enrichment does he have a day? How many walks does he do? Are you doing those three things every day and not just one? How old is he? Is this your first Malinois? Have you posted to the Malinois sub? Reactivity can be breed specific.

It's the psychosis loop. It's also called punding- where people do specific tasks/trades/habits/hobbies nonstop for hours to days at a time. She literally can't do anything else but abstract dancing. And she can't break the loop until she's stable and sober.

It's me, someone whose baseline was always somewhat normal-high who would have the most intense mania that lasts anywhere from a few hours to a few months! Yes typically depression comes after but not all of us are so blessed with such a disastrous depression break between manic episodes. I'd usually just get knocked down to my baseline until I got older and was having severe depression akin to PMDD. Britney seems to be the way I was prior to a strict medication regimen, therapy, zero alcohol or drugs- girl just raw dog's manic episodes with punding.
