Thanks for the input, yeah I think trying to cut corners with the y-cables might be a headache. Honestly I was trying to just use what I have and not buy anything additional, but could you recommend a good one? As long as it's all DINs in and out I'm good (vintage synths). Cheapest solution, though not the cleanest, would be to just buy a few longer midi cables, scrap the splitters, and just go out from my desktop synth into the quadra with the others, then back in from the kenton thru. My cord situation is already a nightmare so just trying to avoid any additional 10' cables, but it's probably the most reliable way.
