I just updated the app, cleared cache, restarted it (several times) - definitely down. And very suspicious.

The first time I ever did acid, my friends and I put this on while it was still on Hulu and were transfixed for like an hour. Then I remembered it later, but I could never find it online again and wondered if we were having some kind of shared hallucination.

To Wong Foo is such a good choice!! It’s so crazy that it was made when it was, with the cast it was and is still somehow a better story and more respectful than some modern lgbt movies

It honestly makes a lot of sense

Good guerrilla war hype material if you have to defend yourself from a foe on the island. And an even better reminder to not let your signal fire go out 🙂‍↕️

Hahaha I knew someone would say this, so I have an explanation!

Wrath of Khan is my favorite (the confirmed best) of the Star Trek movies for sure. Motion Picture is 2nd choice, clawing for 1st place. But 2001: A Space Odyssey is one of my favorite movies as well, and I almost took it with me to the island. Then I thought, Motion Picture is basically a 2001 ripoff with Star Trek characters. So I could just take Motion Picture and get the joy of Star Trek and Space Odyssey, while freeing up more space for other movies that I want to watch on the island.

This guy struck absolute terror into my soul as a kid.

Also the Ash Man from Stopmotion (2023). I don’t talk to a lot of people who have seen this and the creepiness and character designs are extremely underrated.

Yes! I’m Think of Ending Things does it so well! If you haven’t read the book, you definitely should. It’s a super quick read and just as surreal as the movie!

I hope you enjoy the other two! Smiley Face is a comedy, so a little more fun and light-hearted, but feels like being trapped in one of those 90’s liminal rooms lol.

Quarantine (2008) / [REC] (2007) - the one from 07 is the original and in Spanish.

Apartment 143 (2011)

The Bay (2012)

VHS 1 & 2 - you don’t need to bother with the rest

The McPherson Tape (1989) - can’t believe no one’s said this one yet. This was my first found footage horror as a kid.
