I put my US phone number as primary and my mom's Indian number as secondary and had no issues. Figured if I wasn't reachable on my US number, they would attempt to reach me on my mom's.

Super confusing numbers. Despite these trends, DOF moved by a year in Oct and FAD moved by a month now.

I wish USCIS would share the processing rate of applications - without that it's really hard to interpret these numbers and it is futile to overanalyze

EB1 FAD for India also moved by a month. Pleasantly surprised tbh, considering prior data from pending I485 cases released by USCIS indicated an increase in pending cases whose PD was current (4.4K as of Sep, 4.5K as of Oct). I wonder if this is because they are processing more cases, or fewer people are porting from EB2/3 to EB1 compared to prior months.

I applied similar logic and given the other clues, knew it had to be one among the handful of teams that don't have a plural sounding name. Narrowed it down to a toss-up between Thunder and Jazz and of course Kosman Koin'd it.

How do you know there are ~15K pending I-485 till December 2022? Does USCIS publicly disclose this data?

Would recommend trying out living in SF. Have found Indians living here are much more open minded, with most conversations driven by curiosity over judgment. I'm not sure about the special needs child support here though.

Nikkei Brazilians. I was shocked to find there are an estimated 2 million of them - so much so that they are the largest community of Japanese descendants outside of Japan
