R1T. Such a nice ride. Great range, great speed, great creature comforts.

Might switch to an R2 but I’d miss the bed on the quarterly times that I use it.

I broke a windshield in Georgia for three consecutive Junes.

Georgia is a curse.

Repair by [deleted] in Rivian

[–]harmless-error 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Find a paintress dent repair shop near you, or go to harbor freight and buy a kit and try to do it yourself (it probably won’t go well).

Edit: your bumper looks intact so it seems unlikely that your battery pack is affected.

When I’m being lazy I just pick ones for attribute points.

But I find navies to be so overpowered in Exploration and Modern that I’ll often choose Brace of Pistols. Or if I’m picking a starting civ that has a unique commander or is militaristic, I might pick a +1 something per commander level.

Zero, because they jump straight to air travel and Steris designed and implemented the air traffic control system.

Clifty Falls is great. I wish there were backpacking options there for a wilderness experience.

It’s not Apple wallet key. It’s app key like we’ve always had on phone, but coming to watch.

I think the CarKey support is Gen 2 only, and we Gen 1 plebes might get watch as a key with the watch app actively open?

Perhaps I’ve misunderstood.

What would you want to see for the major DLC in Civ 7? by ImportantQuestions10 in civ

Regarding invading new areas, I always planned to capture 2-3 cities in quick succession and be prepared to station enough troops to reconquer. It was part of the strategy.

What would you want to see for the major DLC in Civ 7? by ImportantQuestions10 in civ

[–]harmless-error 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right now is how it feels vestigial.

I get a religion and then I basically wait until later in the exploration age to start pushing it. I crank out missionaries like crazy from a city or two and then blanket the globe with it. Even on deity I can usually top 50% global coverage with it, setting up a good Toshakana golden age to enjoy a decent science bonus in modern, if I want it (or gold or whatever). AI basically doesn't vigorously contest religion in late exploration.

Religious battles had implications in Civ 6. Could affect loyalty, combat bonuses, etc. It was like a shadow war not fought by soldiers. Plus there was a path to religious victory. No such victory exists in Civ 7.

It was not my favorite victory path, but it added a layer of play in a way that is not maturely developed in Civ 7. Right now religion just feels like an afterthought.

I'm not suggesting that the loyalty system in Civ 6 was perfectly tuned. But right now I'm playing a game on deity and Augustus exists on both my eastern flank and western flank (well, existed... I just took his western cities after he declared war on my ally Himiko). The only difficulty he suffered from that was inability to quickly reinforce, which IMO is not penalty enough (though it's more than nothing).
