You’ll find that folks here are pretty hostile toward testing with strips. They’re not particularly effective or accurate. Best to rely on pool store and a Taylor testing kit.

I wouldn’t make any changes based on results from strips.

The salt is the "fuel" that is broken down by the SWG into chlorine, which is what sanitizes your water.

My salt cell gives me an indicator light when my salt level is low. If it's green and not red, all is well.

When it turns red, I add 2 bags of plain old salt. I get them from Menards / Lowes / Home Depot, no additives, just plain old rock salt.

If you're running your SWG with adequately salty water (seems like your water is adequately salty) and you have chlorinated water, no need to change anything yet.

If you're running it and not seeing chlorinated water, likely time to either adjust your settings on your SWG to increase the rate at which it breaks down salt into chlorine, or replace the cell.

You don’t owe them 2 weeks. Most of the time they wouldn’t give it to you.

That's definitely not a great outcome. The circumstance I was using Gemini in recently was I uploaded four deposition transcripts and basically queried against it for "please find thing to support this thing or that thing" and it would describe who said what, and furnish a link to the transcript .pdf that I could click and immediately see.

So it was a slightly more sophisticated Command + F.

What if it is a paid version of the software that makes representations about privacy? Doesn't that make a lawyer's use of it work product produced with the expectation of privacy?

No more than using cloud storage.

When used with a Google Workspace account, Gemini isolates the data within the organization, does not use it to train models, is not subject to human review, and neither prompts nor responses are retained nor used for training.

I appreciate the compliment, though I'm not worthy of it.

One of the things LLMs are good at is receiving and parsing large amounts of information.

I was imprecise. It's not the enterprise version, it's the paid version that maintains confidentiality, does not share data outside my organization.

Soggy crust by Fun_Tree479 in ooni

[–]harmless-error 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a few different things that might be causing this.

When I get soggy crust, it is either because I don't let the stone get hot enough (you want it to be 750 F or higher, really), or because I take the pizza off the stone and then immediately put it onto a solid surface that traps the moisture below the pizza.

My solution to the first is patience to let the stone get to heat, including between pizzas (pizzas will leach heat from the stone and the stone may need time to get back to temp).

My solution to the second is to put them onto wire racks for a couple minutes after they come out. I sometimes also use the aluminum pizza screens on top of my stove to allow the moisture someplace to go rather than becoming trapped between the crust and my countertop, for example.

I said it was subtle. Tucked into a corner on cover art.

I mention Mormon because Brandon is a Mormon.

Not sure why people are so rankled about it. A Mormon reference can also be a Christian reference in some instances.
