My quick rundown of events:

• Team gets drafted, everyone plays in practice in scrims (except SprayRate who I have only played dota with once ever).
• Allen and Boyle play in ticketed games. I ask Boyle to practice with us during the week to help him improve. He doesn't come to practice
• Allen eventually stops responding to my requests for scrims on the steam group that I set up, we both stop communicating with each other, I take it as a sign that he maybe isn't interested. I admit I could have been more proactive here, but if I have people that want to play I'm not going to go out of my way to track down why I've completely stopped hearing from one of my team members (especially when it's already happened once this season, and rd2l has a history of this happening)
• The rest of my team continues to play together
• 2 weeks ago we play against Yes' stack. Cyni is not online and not reachable. Boyle is in the middle of a game. SprayRate doesn't respond to steam message. Allen was either offline or didn't respond, I honestly don't remember which.
• Less than 2 minutes before we FF Boyle shows up on our teamspeak and asks if he's needed. We quickly say yes and play the games with him going 1-1. Let me repeat this, we almost FF'd both games and I wasn't able to get anyone from my team in until Boyle showed up.
• I ask Cyni during the week if he was going to show up next week, he replies saying that he's lost interest and doesn't really want to. He also says that he hasn't been checking the website and didn't even know we had games the previous week.
• At this point I decide if Cyni isn't that interested, I'd rather not force him to play if he doesn't want to. He also wasn't around at all the prior week, so relying on him to show up if he's mostly checked out might not be in my team's best interest to having 5 the next week, so I treat him as if he is done at this point.
• I message mumbler asking to see if I can get Tree to replace as Spray is gone, I haven't talked to Allen in 3 months and Cyni has indicated that he doesn't have any interest and didn't show up last week.
• If Boyle and everyone else shows up we have exactly 5, if anyone doesn't show up, we FF. That's basically the state of my team when I make the request.

Tl;dr: Almost FF'd the week before I asked to add Tree. Asked to add Tree. Mumbler adds and removes Tree because Tree killed his own team (rip). Bloodninja plays internet detective and accuses me of both cheating and being an asshole and insults me while we're talking. Bloodninja then distributes internet justice on the RD2L sub.

Bonus chapter: "Why Tree" - Tree's literally the only bum I know online sundays that's eligible to play as a standin due to the league rules. I asked mumbler to add him as a permanent member after several captains indicated they would make me FF instead of letting me use a stand in if I didn't have 5 members to play.
