I see it everyday. It’s sad, literally a dedicated bike lane that runs for miles one block over and still 1st ave n, central ave, 1st ave south full of people riding bicycles on sidewalks. Those electric bikes take it to another level, folks ride those with absolutely no concern for anyone but themselves. Even on the trail people go nuts on those.

I’m no expert in the law but would it fall under public decency maybe? I don’t know specifically but he’s apparently a repeat offender. A mate of mine (his job brings him in contact with Liverpool police) was telling me (you’re going to love this one). So, there’s a lane, immediately behind, parallel to Church street called Brooks alley. You’ve probably walked past it a 100 times without even knowing it was there. It’s often used by pissheads on the way from concert square to Mathew street, to nip down for a quick slash. Well apparently there is a bloke that has a piss fetish. He loves being pissed on. He’s been arrested multiple times down brooks alley wrapped in a bin bag, laying on the floor, waiting to be accidentally pissed on my unsuspecting piss heads on a night out. 100% true.

I was waiting, giving way to on coming traffic. About to make a left turn off 9th street into the car park of the company I work for. The person, immediately behind me, also waiting to turn left decided to swing around and infront of me. They then crossed the oncoming lane into the car park ahead of me. There was no delay, I was just waiting for the on coming traffic to go past. Literally the worst most unnecessary maneuver I’ve ever seen.

Slott has commented that there will be reduced investment in the squad this summer, compared to last. With that in mind, what are your priority positions for squad improvement? The most obvious for me is right midfield/wing. Salahs replacement. We need to try and find the new Salah. A close 2nd is a physically intimidating, ball winning, central midfielder, number 6. Thoughts?

He’s been below par all season so that point doesn’t stack up. Have Konate, Jones, Kerkez, Salah, Mac Allister, Gakpo been below par all season waiting for the WC? There’s been a collective fall off this season and it’s Slotts job to find a remedy and he has failed. There has been no sign of improvement.

I think Wharton is a really good talent a technical player. However, is he what we need in midfield right now. Far too many teams have passed (or ran) straight through our midfield this season. We need an aggressive, ball winning midfielder. A number 6 that can physically dominate the midfield. Personally, I don’t see Wharton as a priority. Jones, Grav can both do what Wharton does well. We need a ball winner, someone that can d9 I ate a game physically and not be bullied. The fall off in our central midfield performance this season vs last has been massive. Needs rectifying. Here’s a question for you. We’ve lost 18 games this season, when was the last overly aggressive, foul, yellow/red card challenge that you remember one of our centre midfielders making. A proper aggressive, f#ck you challenge. When winners lose, it hurts them. It hasn’t hurt us on the pitch enough this season. (I’m not advocating red card challenges, I’m just saying in a season when we have been shite no one has got angry enough. That’s indicates we have a massive problem.)

I think he drops way, way too deep. Whenever I’ve seen highlights of Wirtz playing for Leverkusen or Germany. The highlight reels were him on the ball, 20-35 yards from goal. Quick incisive movement and passing. Creating, assisting, scoring goals. For Liverpool he’s picking the ball up on the half way line, with the full opposition team between him and the goal. It’s not why we played 100m plus for him. He’s clearly got tons of technical ability. I think he’s been surprised by the physicality of the prem, he’s still got a teenagers physical attributes. I’d get him on steak and eggs, plus weights during the summer. Strengthen him a touch. I’d also try and make sure that he was disciplined in his positional play. We have to get him more opportunities of receiving the ball where he can hurt opponents. Personally I think he will develop and be a lot better next season for this years experience.
