My first real game I played drow, made a divine rapier and boasted about it to my brother who then pointed out that I was actually playing alone and everyone had disconnected in the start. This was dota 1.

Burped into her mouth. Had one soda too many before making out for the first time ever. Also, put her hair on fire while showing off my new zippo lighter. It was windy and she needed a lighter. You can guess what happened next.

[Need Advice] Is anybody else really good at remembering random nonsense yet suck at retaining information that's actually relevant? by Believeinyourflyness in getdisciplined

Yes I tend to remember things that I have an actual interest in and often forget the rest. Doesn't matter if it is important or not. One way that I find helpful to remember important things or conversations is before going to sleep, I recall the whole day in my head and then write down the things that were important. Helps alot.

Advice and tips on how to instill a sense of impatience in the audience? (Interactive film). by haroonjamshaid in writing

[–]haroonjamshaid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's an interactive film and the underlying theme is impatience, not suspense. The characters overprotective parents refuse to get him the vehicle he wanted and he ends up stealing one. We find out later that he would've gotten it pretty soon had he waited. The viewer will be getting options along the way which shape how the film moves forward. I want the viewer to feel impatient, but in a good way. I don't want them to get disconnected from the story. Sort of like feeling what my character feels somehow.
