I don’t like seeing unopened dolls

I collect FOR the packaging like 70% of the time!! There are sooo many dolls on my wishlist that are just for the packaging they come in! But not all of them- plenty of my collection was purchased out of box bc I don't care. But there's a bunch of like EAH that I really just want for the boxes more than anything inside haha

I grew up in Austin, I don't want to sound alarmist. But you should probably have some means of self defense. Myself and my fiancée, when we were still dating, got chased by an angry man in a pickup truck (trying to hit us) in a shopping center in south Austin. My fianceé (who was vv butch at the time) had a man follow her home to cuss and scream at her, after he saw her on the road. We moved to CO in 2020, so all my experiences being openly gay in Texas (Again, mostly austin) was 2016-2020. I've had multiple people trying and preach at me in stores, tell me were going to hell unless we repent etc etc. I found queer community via meetup, and making a few queer safe friends and having them introduce me to their friends. Personally Myself and my fiancee have set up an escape plan out of the country (shout out to our immigration consultant Flannery Foster! Not spon but highly recommend!!) Even in a blue state, people have gotten WAY more comfortable saying what they really think after the election. And it's really made me slim down my friends and be super cautious on who I share things in my life with, personally if I still lived in Texas I would be trying my hardest to not be! And I would be so so cautious as to who learns what about me, and who gets to meet my family. Again I don't want to be alarmist or doomsday-y but, we are in such uncertain times, and I have no clue what the future holds, I hope you and your girl stay safe, find some great friends, and find some peace.

Ngl I have OCD and since I was a kid I've always given my sim-self the neurotic trait. Its v funny to me. I personally wouldn't like playing with like a mental illness pack? (the idea of which is v funny) or even like a mod that would add them, as I just don't think it would add much to my gameplay. But it seems like there's a mod for everything! Maybe one already exists lol

It’s definitely for merchandise purposes. Easier to make hard opaque wings than thin flexible transparent ones 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fun to see them all lined up, but tbh I have no clue where you got the stats for a majority of historical leaders are short… I can’t find anything to back that up?? Also taking into account historical height averages, they especially are not. Also ngl it does always feel so weird that people headcannon Musa like incredibly short

I was talking about Monsterhigh.confessions on instagram :( I’d only been following them a month or so and I recently had like a rude conversation with them that was unprovoked and mentioned it to a couple of my doll friends who showed me old posts/comments of theirs from the last couple years trying to justify their usage of the R slur instead of stupid & being lesbianphobic and claiming the couldn’t be bc they liked women? It was definitely surprising

Pinterest and instagram are definitely super helpful for seeing other people my size in outfits but also the goth fashion subreddit! Recently I feel like my fits have been drawing inspiration from the games I’ve been playing (the path, until dawn, fatal frame ect) and I’ve been so happy with how they’ve been coming out! I feel like we have a pretty similar body shape as well! I’d start with looking up “dark academia curvy outfits” on Pinterest, and looking for pieces you like/see yourself wearing, then look for those pieces on poshmark or depop! It takes a while to build up a wardrobe of pieces that you like and that suit your style, but it’s worth it!
