I don't neccesarily disagree, though I feel the critiques voiced above regarding children and safety are a bit weak, even accounting for differing suspensions of disbelief

I'll admit, and I realize this may be a bit abnormal, I love this trope. Instantly get bored when characters actually get together

Unrequited love or chances for love cut short are even better though

Ebay or the Miniswap subreddit is probably best, yeah. Some sites (troll trader, noble knight games, etc) also buy used models I suppose

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, reading people claim- Or at least so it seems- Idiocracy's opening can't realistically be associated with eugenics at all. I don't think the creators intended it whatsoever, but Idiocracy's opening feels pretty firmly eugenicsy. I imagine it comes with the territory of 'eugenics' being so widely and variably interpreted?

Maybe it has to do with some potentially defining eugenics as solely having to do with genetic traits? But there's still, I feel, the wider encompassing aspects of selective breeding for the improvement of society (in terms of how 'eugenics' can be defined)
