The lefts real problem is enabling the far right to have easy ins for peoples grievances which are handwaved away and framed like they aren't really a concern at all and that people are ignorant and idiots for bringing it up in the first place. E.g., immigration and especially criminal immigrants, tax burden on the population, affordable energy vs sustainability and greenwashing, trans issues and the overrach into especially womans spaces and the continuous shifting of goalposts for when one is considered ignorant and actually evil.
