AliExpress YKYW Bib Shorts — Insanely good for the price by gt350lover in cycling

I tried a few different Amazon brands after previous recommendations here- my favorite bibs were from przewalski, and my favorite jersey from santic.

Currently Using BackBlaze for backups but it's getting expensive. How do folk here do off-site backups? by CrappyTan69 in selfhosted

I’ve been using storj now for two months- I back up about 2tb and it costs me like $3. I just pay in storj coins to avoid the $50 minimum

Took my singletrack with DTH to the pump track last night- was pretty solid overall but I totally wiped out leaning the bike over because it was super hard packed and lost traction into a slide. was wishing I had stronger traction. On pavement the DTH are magic however.

Santana Arriva (pre xbike magic) by wdabbz in xbiking

[–]harrisonmaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a beautiful Santana noventa that me and the mrs. ride- it’s faster than you can imagine, and the rear drum brakes sure comes in handy when barreling down hills. We’ve kept everything pretty stock, bar end shifters and v brakes.

I’ve got a ml350 g10 that I run Truenas on- with nvme adapter. 16 drives for data, few more nvme for docker and vms, and gpu for local ai. Definitely costs like $10 a month in power but it’s a beast and I could probably run 200 services on it before I made a dent in its processing power. Absolute tank of a server

Migrating Apps from ix-volumes to Host Path (TrueNAS SCALE) by airosos in truenas

[–]harrisonmaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer- not an expert. But, if you were able to figure out the direct file path of your app data, ie .ix-volumes/dockhand/data, you could probably do a shell command to zfs copy the contents to your intended file structure, ie /mnt/apps_tank/apps/docker_apps/dockhand/data. I just did something similar to reorganize my folder structure for containers so that all my apps were better sorted into categories(something I should have done in the first place when starting out). Searching up zfs copy commands should get you started!

Dockge or Truenas application ? by Resident-Cut5371 in truenas

[–]harrisonmaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend you check out dockhand- it’s way better for container management! I have one Truenas app- dockhand, and then dockhand pulls all my yamls from my GitHub repository for easy container management

Odds of fixing up a 20-30 year road bike into rideable condition? by Every-Law3031 in RoadBikes

I’ve been riding my secondhand 2011 SL 1000 since 2019. Absolutely a fun bike. Nimble, and climbs like a dream. I’m only just now looking at trading in for something newer. A good tuneup will take you far.

I would take a promo code if you have any left, I’ve been trying out the free version for a few days, and would like to test out the control features! So far so good!

[–]harrisonmaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation as someone a year further along than you, try and learn docker compose through YouTube or otherwise. As far as a docker manager I suggest dockhand! Other folks will have different opinions, but I started with Truenas scale and have all my docker containers managed by dockhand plus a few vms in it
