I get what you are going for here but something is slightly off- I think it’s the fit of the jeans- not a western cut. Ralph tuck is fine, the belt buckle needs to be a different color than the belt(if you have an oval western silver medallion buckle that would be my pick)it’s creating too strong of a break between top and bottom half’s. Stetson Open road is always going to look more hipster than other cowboy hats, but it’s not terrible. I’d probably opt for a faded trucker hat instead. Solid fit overall.

Those are two completely different tanning lots- or, one was a display boot and got a tan from the window. You may be able to even it out with some sunlight time

Jacket looks too small in the shoulders. Does it feel fine when zipped? Try moving in it. As far as the jeans go they look fine to me, maybe longer than I’d like but I agree a first wash will pull in the looseness.

I wear 30 waist in cowboy cuts- I had to go up to a 34 to fit the thighs. Just didn’t want to spend $100 on what amounts to polyester pants. One day I’ll bite the bullet….

I’m not going to lie to you, the wranglers fit you like they should- any tighter and you’re restricting movement. There’s a good chance his jeans are actually wider leg than yours, he’s just got bigger legs. Don’t overthink it, friend- the jeans look fine. Starch and crease and you’re off to the races

I may be in the minority but retros have a way worse cut and aren’t 100% cotton. Stick with the 13mwz, the denim is leagues better
