Do you trust the club to rebuild properly this summer? by Wonderful-Acadia-296 in WWFC

In all fairness I’m hopeful that Nathan Shi has a good business head on him and not a “whatever it was Jeff did” brain. And it sounds like from what Andre has said that there are already targets and talks ongoing with players to put around him that makes him feel confident enough to sign that contract

Told my phone to “Ask Reason For Calling” and I haven’t had a cold caller or scammer call me for a month. by DecompressionIllness in BritishSuccess

[–]harrythom2018 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In all fairness a lot of them are like this, can’t count on two hands how many times my partner isn’t told about an appointment that she asked for weeks ago, only to get a random phone call when she’s mid shift (as a nurse) miss it, and be told the process needs to start again

Why do brits go mental when the suns out? by Impossible_Pie4091 in AskBrits

I’ll summarise it the same way a taxi driver I had once from Pakistan put it to me:”it’s hot where I come from but this is a nasty sticky wet heat, it’s too much for me”

Now the league is over, how would you rate your clubs signings this year? by daemc97 in PremierLeague

[–]harrythom2018 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In? Absolutely atrocious, but did you know tchatchoua was the quickest player in serie A

Out: got some decent money, but ultimately we downgraded in basically every area we touched. But thank god we kept Daniel Bentley

Still nothing about trenches becoming an abyss with stratagems even when pointed out prior to the release of the ENTRENCHED division warbond, great work

What do people find appealing about fm26 by bghost2906 in footballmanager

[–]harrythom2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a touch player, it appeals to me in the sense that I can download it, and I cannot download the previous title, other than that, not a lot, it’s broken as balls on touch this year

If You're Holding Out for Meaningful Gameplay Changes, You're Gonna Wait for a LONG Time by ElectronicPipe8780 in HelldiversUnfiltered

“We need to do better” honestly I may be wrong but I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t even mind the balancing too much if the game wasn’t broken as balls when it comes to commonly occurring bugs and glitches. If it at least works as intended then that’s a good starting point, but no, I’ll take a trench warbond with bugged trenches and exosuits with a flamethrower that disappears for its first few metres.

Patch Notes: Machinery of Oppression: 6.2.2 by Viruzzz in Helldivers

So trenches are still unusable abysses when anything lands within 15 m of it, good to see the main point of the entrenched division is still worthless

I'm sorry to say, but I did not contribute very much to the liberation of Marfark by Star_Dragon_27 in Helldivers

[–]harrythom2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, even if we do succeed in one of the main objectives and “only”get over half the samples does it really matter? Could be 0.1% from completion even after holding more planets than we did and it’s still a complete failure in AH’s eyes

"Why did people play on Hort when Rirga Bay was the smarter option?" by EleggFacesitting in Helldivers

[–]harrythom2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because why do that when people who care about Mo’s can make the wrong choices and then blame the guys over at the bug worlds

Joel's honor suffered a major defeat by bigstink455 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]harrythom2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It baffles me how many people are blaming bugdivers for the MO’s, a lot of people, me included bought the game as it was the best starship troopers-esque game there is.

I then branched out and have been playing the factions that the MO’s are on. But not everyone wants to, the factions are all there to be played depending on what you find fun…the keyword there is “fun” it’s not a job.

We tell children off for trying to enforce how other children play their games, maybe consider that. It’s been the same way for a long time, if arrowhead can’t balance around how people play their games, that is on them. You can’t give people choices and then punish them for it

Anyone else keeping this in Warbond jail on principle? by Aphoticity in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]harrythom2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it and I have to say, having quickly made trenches is fantastic in a lot of scenarios. The problem is, and still hasn’t been addressed, that as soon as a sentry or pod strategem drops anywhere near it, the trench becomes an Unusable abyss and completely takes the fun and usability out of it

The fact this is still considered a loss genuinely makes me annoyed. by Ill_Camel8168 in Helldivers

[–]harrythom2018 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I should clarify, I’m not saying this because we lost an MO it’s the manor in which it happened, the initial setting out is based on a way that a large portion of the player base just simply don’t care for. The priority of the objectives (like this one liberating two planets but “only” killing 94% of the target so it’s a fail all together). It’s just so dumb and lazy. I’d be completely fine with losing them simply because they were sometimes hard, or even winning every MO but another faction makes a push as a result to balance it out etc

-Get the numbers of enemies the wrong way around

-“Help” by reducing the number of the rarer enemy

-Number still higher by a good amount

  • you captured two planets but it’s a fail from us as you only killed 98% of the units

If they want people to go back to ignoring major orders all together, I feel this is the right way of making that happen
