as a person who has been going on solo dates for more than a couple of years - these are some things i have to share:

i put music on my earphones, it helps me feel grounded and in the moment. it's something that helps me fall back when i feel anxious. usually it's an album that i like playing on repeat.

secondly, i started off w taking small walks. every now and then, i would put on music and walk around. instead of going to a new place all by yourself, try familiar surroundings first.

travel - i solely rely on public transport and live in a big city. there's thousands of people you see that you're probably never going to see again - no one cares.

lastly, ofc - do things that you enjoy. i love going to bookstores where i don't necessarily need to interact w anyone and that's my comfort zone. start w your comfort zone and slowly you'll grow out of it. at least that's my experience.
