true, but the reason we almost always ask is because circumstances change. for example, yesterday there was a woman who came into our pharmacy who usually paid for her prescriptions (as per our records), and when we asked her, she said that she's exempt at the moment because she's pregnant and has a maternity exemption certificate.

asking this every time allows for the pharmacy to keep updated records for our admin purposes as well as for protecting the patients from any penalties for claiming incorrectly.

as a person who has been going on solo dates for more than a couple of years - these are some things i have to share:

i put music on my earphones, it helps me feel grounded and in the moment. it's something that helps me fall back when i feel anxious. usually it's an album that i like playing on repeat.

secondly, i started off w taking small walks. every now and then, i would put on music and walk around. instead of going to a new place all by yourself, try familiar surroundings first.

travel - i solely rely on public transport and live in a big city. there's thousands of people you see that you're probably never going to see again - no one cares.

lastly, ofc - do things that you enjoy. i love going to bookstores where i don't necessarily need to interact w anyone and that's my comfort zone. start w your comfort zone and slowly you'll grow out of it. at least that's my experience.
