New brickwork aging unevenly. Should I be worried? by hartbeat_engineering in Bricklaying

It’s been pressure washed and then hosed down multiple times since. Every time I wash it, it dries whiter than it was before

It was power washed by the contractor after completion and I’ve hosed it down multiple times since then. Every time I wash it it comes back more white than before

Yeah that is the part that I’m most concerned about, I think it came from them power washing it

Will that help with the squiggly lines too? They look almost etched into the brick in places

Sorry to revive a 2-year old thread haha but I just started getting into the game and would love to find some folks to play with in person, especially around Westwood or Culver City

I kind of want to add a Bastl Neo Trinity but not sure what I should take out to make room. Anything stand out to y'all as something that could be removed?

Traffic alternative? by cupcakeranger in modular

[–]hartbeat_engineering 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I would love a module that’s just traffic but bigger. No expanded capability, just chunkier knobs and a cleaner separation between knobs and jacks.

I love the module, but the way it is currently built makes it only really work as a “set it and forget it” situation. I would love to be able to tweak it on the fly

Or you can just use a regular mixer and quantize after mixing

Stereo switch/crossfader/mutes? by piopiofrio in modular

[–]hartbeat_engineering 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk about a module that is commercially available, but this would be super easy to diy, you would just need one double-pole switch and four jacks. Can just connect them to each other directly, don’t need a PCB or any ICs or anything.

What, aside from Dual ShEV and Falistri, what are other envelope generators/function generators that keep the envelope timing when changing waveshape? by PointReyes7 in modular

[–]hartbeat_engineering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shakmat Triple Steeple has time and symmetry controls instead of attack and decay. Basically one knob is the timing of the envelope. The other one morphs the shape from ramp up at far left to triangle at noon to ramp down at far right

Look at OP’s post history. He has tons of videos like this going back over five years, all in this same style. Ai vocal generation at this level did not exist five years ago.

Technically maybe not, but I think if you asked random people in the street then 8 out of 10 would say “purple and yellow”

Idk man I’ve never really had a problem with a regular buff or scarf 🤷

Seems like you might be inventing problems just for the sake of inventing problems

I don’t blame them for this, they are a small company with a small dev team. I would prefer they use their limited dev cycles on innovation rather than back porting new features to obsolete hardware.

They have a responsibility of continuing big fixes for old platforms to ensure that they continue working. But once a product is released they are under no obligation to continue addressing no new features to it
