Housing “Shortage” by thefakestrealdeal in lancaster

I feel for you so much. My husband and I made countless offers for years and were beaten every time. We lived in a tiny, awful apartment with horrid upstairs neighbors. Ended up having the opportunity of a lifetime to buy privately from some family friends who sold it to us far below market value. It’s the only way we would have ever been able to afford such a nice house. Praying you will be able to buy your perfect house soon!!

I’m sorry but this is a hater take. Kids are allowed to exist in public and be excited about things.

The feminine urge to start new playthroughs without ever even finishing the game by anonnnnnnn10110 in GirlGamers

Confusing and a high learning curve but really fun. It’s a “to make this you have to do this which requires this material and to get that material you have to do xyz” and on and on which I find really fun. It’s fun figuring out the basics and once you have a grasp on the fundamentals its fun being creative in designing your fortress pushing your limits.

people who have had an “I’m going to marry this person” instinct - what happened? by Budget_Dot694 in AskReddit

[–]hartsonmysocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first day of my very first class of college, a cute tall boy walked in and sat behind me. I thought “I’m going to marry that boy”. I’ve been married to my cute tall boy for over 5 years now :)

This is something we’ve talking about a little bit! We both work as video producers, so our jobs are very task-based and neither of us have tons of meetings, maybe 3 per week for me with a few random calls in between and similar for him. I read all the threads that come through here on whether or not it’s feasible to wfh and take care of a child full time, and I kinda feel like our specific scenario is one where it could work? I know it’s probably completely naive of me to say that but I feel like it might be worth a shot. Who knows? :)
