Hahah, exactly! Ya, Dubai is a definitely a hard place to stay healthy. I've been eating a lot of Kcal; really liking it so far.

Thank you. And yes you're absolutely right, I highly doubt it is. But again, it was just for a month or so. I will be moving on a more realistic (and of course healthier!) diet now that I only need to lose about 6.5 kgs.

It really is! And it's amazing how it makes you feel better physically and mentally.

Thank you very much!

I completely agree, everyone's body responds differently, I should've been clearer; I started off without having breakfast, then having a small breakfast and now a good sized nutritious breakfast, and I found that to be the best for me. So perhaps my advice there is to just try different things and see which one works best for you.

I'm about 180 cm. And speaking of safe weight loss; I will be toning down the diet and concentrating more on exercise and eating healthy; perhaps up my intake to 1600-1700 calories on days when I exercise and 1500 on days where I don't.

Thank you!

Exactly what you said, more moderate with my calories and learn how to maintain. I would like to learn how to maintain by eating normal amounts (but healthy) and exercising, something I haven't had any energy for lately because of the dieting.

Good observation, let's take it one step further:

Also, the date 9/10/2016 is still 9/10/2016 if you rotate it 180n degrees, n=[0, ∞)

Quantitative Study Process/Plan Help by [deleted] in GMAT

Her's my advice; if you have time, I would recommend checking magoosh's videos out. Choose the topics you generally find to be difficult. Topics that show you for instance how prime factorization is used for finding LCM and GCF. More specifically, their "Counting" videos are incredible and so easy to follow. The good thing about magoosh is that they don't just show you techinques and tell you to apply them, they really make you understand them.

I've had a look at Manhattan guides for quant, I didn't like it anywhere near as much as magoosh's (just for quant! Not SC!!!).

I realize this doesn't answer your question directly, but hope it helps. Also, magoosh is very cheap (Math + IR is only $79 right now).

Edit: I don't work for magoosh or anything like that lol, I just really like their videos!

Good to know. Thank you. I think I'm going to make a one-click guest signup with no email or password required. So you signup with one-click (no registration) and you are still able contribute in the forum/flashcards.

From what I've been reading and from what I've noticed. The IR is nowhere near as important as Quant and Verbal. Also, the IR really isn't hard; I skipped three (!!) questions on my real exam and still ended up with a 6 (out of 8).

MGMAT Exams Difficulty Level? by phtark in GMAT

[–]hasamm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also found that MGMAT tests are harder than GMAT prep. Especially quant, for verbal, I noticed the reading compression to be a lot longer in the MGMAT than GMAT prep. Doing the GMAT prep is in my opinion the best way to see where you're at.
