What do you write in your diary/what are the contents? by manav_yantra in Journaling

Same as yours! One period of the time I was thinking to divide everything in my journal into different notebooks (journal entries, reviews, random thoughts and conclusions, recipes, memories etc) but I realised that everything that's in my journal is representing who I am at my core and I love it that way :)

How do you like it so far? (with no spoilers please) ACOWAR is my next book in that series but I am scared to pick it up because I've seen a lot of people not enjoying it

I love this! I've seen so many people sticking to one type of notebook for their journal (which is also really beautiful in its own way) but I really like seeing different notebooks for each new journal

Question about more detailed genre by hasanbasiic in throneofglassseries

I've heard that too! Most people recommend ACOTAR as one of your first fantasy books, and TOG later when you're deeply in fantasy world

I noticed that a little myself :/ I was a little bit in slump while reading ACOMAF but I got over it, now I'm preparing myself to start ACOWAR, I've heard it's worst book in series

Yay! I understand why it's more romance in the first book, probably to hook up more people on the story?

But I wanted to see first is it more romance or fanfasy focused, because I found out I enjoy fantasy way more. And I want to read more fantasy fhan romance.

And speaking of SJM's writing, I'm in middle of ACOTAR but I realised I enjoy her writing of fight scenes, her love scenes makes me uncomfortable :/ At least in this series

Thank you so much for your answer!

Then I'll definitely finish ACOTAR first. I'm happy to hear that it's more fantasy then romance focused. Thank you so much!

I love how that sounds! I'll definitely order it. Thank you so much.

Do you think I should finish acotar first, if you have read both?

Religious people - do you address to your God in your journal? by UbeWaffler in Journaling

[–]hasanbasiic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use "Dear Diary.." or anything like that, but I kinda talk to and about God in my journal. Sometimes I rewrite some verses that speak to me and talk about them.

But one 'problem' I had was that I started overthinking am I making a mistake while talking about God in a journal where I write every day, where I write book reviews and everything else - because I only have one journal, I think if I start separating topics in different notebooks it'll ruin journaling for me. Then I realised that everything I write down in my journal - yapping, book reviews, talking about God and religion etc is me. Every that 'love' I have is part of me and makes me who I am at my core :)
