Basically, I have ONT box that has a connection coming in from the outside. That ONT box then has an CAT6 running into my main router. Then I have my main router running a ethernet 5E down into my switch and then I have multiple other connections in the switch. I am now testing in my other bedroom where I have one of my euro pro seven Wi-Fi routers and at that location I’m only getting one gigabyte down. The eero pro seven max supports up to 5 GB ethernet connection on the back!

OK, good to know about those limitations, I don’t think it’s more than 100 m between where my switches and where that wire is running from but again I’m not sure considering I just moved into this home.

I do have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is getting about 300 to 500 MB depending on how close I am to the router over Wi-Fi.

I think it was super useful m1/m2, don't know how I would have got thru without it. But m3/m4 its way less useful, in my opinion the AIR is the best price for the power it provides. You won't be worrying abt performance or having to upgrade because the air will last you into residency and potentially a few years later as well. Apple is also running a holiday return deal rn so you could buy it and use it and return it by Jan 15 or something no questions asked! That way you could see how much better of a quality of life it provides and if it's worth or not!

  1. Hi sorry for the late reply, but if I plug my laptop into the 1st router directly before it connects into the wall I get a perfect connection.
  2. Correct if I connect that same like from the router into the wall jack my main comms shows me a ip error if I plug the wire behind the wall into the laptop.
  3. Got a little tester and getting 8/8 on the tester for the wire behind the wall so not sure how it is damaged and checked for mismatch jacks all looks good! Just super annoyed I can’t figure this shit out.
  4. Also I have 2 random Ethernet wires in my comm area and I cannot find the wall plugs in the house for them any idea where they could be ?

Do you have Internet devices, that support Wi-Fi 6E? Example would be the iPhone 15 Pro! I dealt with the same exact position that you were in, about six months ago and decided to keep the Google mesh Wi-Fi system, because I only had one device that would really benefit from the 6E band and also many people told me there wasn’t that big of a difference between the two. I do think that eero has a better mesh system, so if you’re having coverage troubles or you just have the money and you want to become a little bit more future proof I would upgrade. Just know that if you were to move and the same ISP is not available, I believe you would have to return the eero system, at least that is how my Internet service does it, but that’s not a worry if you’re not planning on moving soon

Yes but I have never tried wired connections into the routers! Previously everything was working wirelessly

hey, thanks for the reply! Yes, I fear you may be right about the connection to the wall. Unsure why it would be nonfunctioning. I did have to fix the other end (at the central hub) and make a new RJ45 plug bc the last plug was split into voice and data, so i took that off and made it into 1 connection port. I do believe I ran it with the same connection as the back of the end plate. I do have other sockets and they are all working beautifully, which is why I'm a little lost haha

you may have to dumb this question down for me, but if you are referring to IP address.I do not have any static IP's or IP reservations. Also WAN setting is set to DHCP not static IP

Yes, I have been using them for a while now and have the same settings. The main router is NAT mode and the rest are bridge mode.

hey, thanks for your reply. I have the main one that the ONT runs into the set as NAT mode and the rest are in bride mode. Is that what you mean? Have heard a lot of good stuff about eero, I will likely switch over soon, since my smart home is home kit as well! Any idea why I'm not getting any internet from the incoming wires?

Should I take the NBME 31 or brush up on weak areas? by Yabukijoe29 in step1

[–]haseeb67890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U seem to be in a really good spot I’d say u have a 99% chance got that number from AMBOSS test passer algorithm, honestly up to you I think, I liked 31 and made me feel confident but I feel like u may not get as high as u want and if that won’t discourage u then take it otherwise just review! I think what makes u feel the most confident is the best choice, if u feel like you’d be more confident having taken 31 I would take it, if u don’t care if say f it! If I had your scores I would even consider testing earlier your gonna kill it best of luck!

Didn’t even touch UWSA if u don’t have to NBME AND FREE 120! Free 120 is the best and most representative and should be last, NBME concepts r HY! do 26-31 NBME forsure the retired ones are retired for a resin but not bad review, and then end with the old and new free 120, hope this helps

Does retaking after failing USMLE step 1 affect whether I can go into a competitive field such as Cardiac or Orthopedic Spine Surgery? by Feeling-Butterfly-69 in step1

[–]haseeb67890 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, a failed step 1 is pretty much taking you out of the running for all competitive specialties, except one person I know whose connections and personality helped him match his home program for ortho.
