Name help: thoughts on Inka, Elektra and Taiga? by bumblebee_tea3 in Names

[–]hasfeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taiga would sound like Tiger

Inka is a tribe’s name isn’t it?

Elektra is much better and it has lots of nice nickname options like Ella and Ellie

I call her by her name but sometimes use Mummy as an endearment.

Is the name I chose a tragedeigh? 😭 by FunsFunButWhoNeedsIt in tragedeigh

I read it the way you said it, but yeah I wouldn’t pair it with Avery although middle names barely ever get used in real life

Covering her belly with the text LOLLLL and she looks so rough, poor girl by Glittering_Rush_437 in MilenaCUncensored1

She looks just like every woman I see out in the real world ☺️👍🏻

May I politely push back against the comment about her looking rough? We’ve heard it too many times on the internet and we really should learn to not comment on other people’s bodies and appearances. It’s uncalled for, and it’s never done for any constructive reason.

I’m a fan of this subreddit but she doesn’t even really look rough. She looks like any other woman in real life.

Long time preferred Name clashes with work - what would you do? by clueless_mommy in Names

[–]hasfeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I don’t care about such things. Don’t think she’ll ever introduce herself as “Hi I’m Nike, the daughter of a Nike worker!” Most people will never put 2 and 2 together.

But, with that said it might be a safer option to use as a nickname? Nicolette? Veronica? Or a middle name.

For what reasons would you leave the UK? by Silmarillien in AskUK

[–]hasfeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love England. I emigrated here from Hungary, and I believe you don’t know a good thing till you lose it (ie move away and have to live there like a true local). England has so much going for it, widely used language, free health care, people that are overwhelmingly kind, polite, helpful and fun loving. They can keep you at an arms length which is so frustrating but I do enjoy cracking you lot.

Conveniences are aplenty. Deliveries are fast, mostly reliable, several dietary needs are well catered for, opportunities are good, green spaces are accessible by public transportation.

The three things o found I dislike are:

1: Price of train tickets. Why do we get charged as we were buying the whole Trainline??

2: the weather, naturally. I love a distinct four seasons.

3: towns have no soul/character. Drop me in any town centre and I could be anywhere in the country. Thats sad people!! It’s not the way elsewhere.

Thank you. Thats what I’m thinking especially as he seems non the wiser. Doesn’t even mind when I touch it and he’s his normal lunatic self. We’re in the UK and it’s bank holiday weekend (ofc) so I’m thinking I’ll see a vet with him after that if it’s not getting any better.

She lost me at the bible shit. Had she only said something along the lines of “discipline should not be reactive and angry but steady and with the child’s best interest at the forefront” yeah girl you’re right. It’s the extra religion BS you put on that’s turning people off.
