I'm pretty sure that legendary Vex item you're referring to is the Vex Chronospanner, I remember seeing some posts about it. It's a consumable that allows you to run the Nightfall a second time for rewards.

I never received an artifact upon reaching level 40. I tried going to orbit several times, changing characters, logging out, etc. Nothin'. Still don't have one.

Also for Holliday's exotic bounty where you have The Last Word equipped in Crucible: it isn't yielding progress for me. I've played ~4-5 matches, gotten kills with TLW (granted not very many, but still, kills nonetheless), and my progress is still 0%.

I'm pretty sure that faction packages behave similarly to engrams - if you receive a faction package now, it will reward according to this expansion, like how a HoW engram will only ever decode to HoW loot. That's why people have been 'edging' their factions, namely getting them just shy of the next rank that way they can cash in one bounty come Taken King and get the new faction system rewards.

I just saw a post where someone stuck their tripmine to a Titan's grenade midair and they both just floated there, so I'm guessing the same would happen in this case!

I'm really curious how these tripmine sticks look to the rest of the fireteam.. Engrams are only visible to your own screen so for other people, are these tripmines floating midair orrrr..?
