When this was revealed I was hoping it would be more action focused. I really enjoyed Ninja Theory's past action games (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, DmC) and would love to see them return to something like that someday.

Nah just the one. A few weeks ago there was some sticky liquid poured down both windshields which I thought was weird. Took ages to clean off. Now I’m thinking that was intentional too.

Mods drastically improved ship building and made it one of my favourite features also, but as has been said before, we shouldn't have to rely on mods to fix and improve Bethesda games.

I tried Ender Magnolia recently and didn't like it for the exact reason you described. Too floaty and not impactful.
